we have to believe that we can go to Leicester and win. a sell out following is fantastic given the season we are having. the players owe it to these fans we have quality in the side we must utilise this and stop conceding sloppy goals.if we can get to half time 0-0 then I think we can win the game 2nd half? maybe a dream debut for Campbell coming on as a 2nd half sub and netting the winner.and 3 points this weekend will be massive many of the bottom 10 are playing each other.

[quote author="@lilfraise" source="/post/5934615/thread" timestamp="1519340450" Butland Bauer Shawcross Zouma Pieters Allen Cameron Badou Shaqiri Choupo Jese
Choupo isn't a striker but at least he can play on the break and has some sort of first touch. Wouldn't mind Campbell but not sure what his overall play is like. The first 9 players i put above have to play though, there's no other option.[/quote]
I agree that is the team I would go for against Leicester if everybody is fit.

Butland Bauer Shawcross Zouma Pieters Allen Cameron Badou Shaqiri Diouf Ramadan
.. I want to see Shaqiri #10 behind Campbell and Diouf on the right but Leicester away with their counter attacking threat isn't the game to do it, we need all the legs in midfield we can get. Choupo is a lazy sod (recently anyway) so I wouldn't have him near the left hand side when we might have a Mr Mahrez back to double up on which Ramadan WILL do.

Not a bad side TBF - I'd be tempted to play a false-9 seeing as we don't have a striker of note (young Campbell aside), and if we did go Stokelona then pick Sobhi ahead of Choupo who has been playing utter shite recently You just know it'll be Fletch in for Cameron, Diouf & Crouch in for Choupo & Jese - I think PL will be aiming for a 0-0 at best
Been saying Choupo has been wasted out wide left for ages. Diouf is so fkking hit and miss it's unbelievable. Sorry Cameron is a liability with 0 creativity. I would still start Adam for 70 mins and play Choupo with Shaq and Jese. Subs: Grant, Cameron, Bera, Campbell, Stafylidis, Affellay & Ramadan

I've said earlier in the thread. But I've had info Shawcross is injured which is a fucking disaster for this game

Ryan does seem to be having regular problems. Disaster, if he can't start! Just seems to be the way our luck is!

If we win at Leicester I will strip off naked and enter the lion's enclosure at the West Midlands Safari Park to await my fate.
The lineup doesn't matter lads. We have not got a chance in hell.
Time would be better spent researching which pubs to go to in Ipswich.

its hard trying to pick a team that can win with our lot but here goes , we need to get Shaq in a free role for sure
Jack
Bauer Ryan Zouma / Indi Pieters
Sobhi Allen Badou Jese
Shaq
Choupo
Hope Campbell makes the bench , he can finsih so if we need a goal he sems the most likely

RE: Sobhi, possibly but I think Choupo has that bit of extra strength and can beat a man, he's far more of a focal point than if Jese were up front. I could see Diouf being there, but I think against a team like Leicester we'll need to make the ball stick when it goes forward, and Diouf doesn't give us that. To be honest recently he hasn't given us the work rate either.

Especially not against Leicester. If you go down that route you have to drop one of them for Cameron.

For us, Joe won't stop charging at the ball, yet for Wales he's positively Makelele-esque

Sometimes you don't have much choice.
Part of the reason we had 25% possession at Man City is because we couldn't get the ball off them.
Chelsea had the same problem against Barcelona this week. They had 27% possession at home which must be some sort of all time low for them for a home game but I doubt it was by choice, they wanted to build a lead in the home game but trouble was Barcelona didn't let them have the ball.

I can see another pasting. We lack everything a premier league side needs. No quality, no spirit, no desire, no fitness, no grit, absolutely nothing. Butland
Bauer Cameron Shawcross Stafy
Allen N'Diaye
Shaq Afellay Ramadan
Diouf

Given our track record so far this season every game we've got left looks difficult.
Attitude from now on is going to be key. Other clubs around us suddenly changed their attitude and got some unexpected results.
We've got to do the same. We're still in with a fighting chance of staying up, but we've got to pick up more away points.
A draw wouldn't be too bad a result tomorrow.

I always thought you play to your strengths... which now brings up my question... what are our strengths?
We can’t defend. We can’t attack efficiently. We can’t dominate a game. We can’t frustrate a side.
What can we actually do well which will enable us to win a game of football? Please prove me wrong stoke ffs because I’m worried
