What the fuck do some of you see? We're pressing, we look like we're trying, we're picking up points, we're not conceding 3-4 goals every game. We've made 2 good signings and Lambert has had a handful of games. He isn't going to change every aspect of the team is he? End of the day it's not his team, he's inherited this crock of shit and he's been tasked with keeping us up. If he keeps us up by crook or by hook I really don't give a fuck how he does it. Next season if we're in the Premier League then I'll reserve judgement. But to throw in the towel and just come out with ABSOLUTE BOLLOCKS that "nothing has changed" and he's "no better than Hughes" is just borderline embarrassing. Call yourself a supporter? Ha Fuck rate off and dunna turn up for the fight next time! True though We arnt conceding because we havnt played anyone of note, and we have been at home for 3 of them!

When conditioning is obviously an issue you shouldn't play Fletcher and have Johnson on the bench. Charlie maybe OK to bring on but his 'effort' to get to the rebound reminded me of a nice but overweight lad who held everyone up struggling to catch a PMT bus 50 years ago in Fenton.

We're clearly more solid and working harder but as previously posted you can't turn around 2 years of mismanagement within a few weeks.
Apart from organisation and fitness he appears to be tactically lacking. The subs he makes are generally poor and starting Fletcher instead of Cameron was ridiculous.

Lambert is totally blameless. He’s been here 5 minutes. And he would probably have scored the pen even at his age. The players are clearly falling short of top 10 material but there are clearly issues higher up the chain that need to be considered. Relegation will be a financial disaster for the club

Better than Hughes. Not powerful enough to overturn the Scholes/John Coates ‘new direction’.

From my post on the Brighton match thread:
As I said after the Bournemouth defeat, Lambert is learning fast what doesn't work. Unlike Hughes he doesn't have any "holy cows" when it comes to team selection. He appears to be rotating some players, although it is too early to say. At least the team lasted the pace a bit longer today.
Hopefully he will rotate some players out of his next team and give others (another) go.

He has done ok but disappointed he has not used Ireland after his performance at United
Ramadan could do no worse than Choupo
We have too many players who are hiding . I'm not sure how he changes that.

We arnt conceding because we havnt played anyone of note, and we have been at home for 3 of them! Anyone of note? And Hughes steered us to THE worst defensive record in Europe. a West Ham destroyed us. Newcastle beat us Coventry beat us We've picked up 5 points since Lambert came in. Not ideal, but I bet my bottom dollar it's more than what Hughes would have got us! We'd be with West Brom so far up shit creek with paper towels for fucking paddles

Better than what we would have got. Let's be honest! Onwards and upwards. It seems Fletcher has surely played his last game as Lambert has clearly seen he is absolute toss and a 2 man midfield consisting of Badou and Allen is the way forward. 2 up front, I liked Saido today. Worked hard and maybe he'll find that elusive goal with Jese and Shaq on the wing Choupo needs to up his game Fuck it, I'm going Leicester and I'll do my best to get to every remaining game. I wanna stay up and I fucking hope everyone else wants us to stay up.

Let's be brutally honest about this. He is a manager not one single supporter would have picked and there is a very good reason for that.
He's got the job having impressed with his knowledge of our players, strengths and weaknesses, yet he arrived without a single striker in his mind that he wanted to sign.
He then proceeds to tell everyone that we were excellent at Bournemouth then drops some physicality and energy in favour of Fletcher.
He sets the team up to press and then starts crouch.
He had the opportunity to bring bojan back, a player loved by match going supporters (not me I might add) and his fellow players, a player who would undoubtedly have lifted everyone and in his 4th game in charge he deploys berahino in the no10 position.
His new left back, he sticks in midfield.
We have a goalscoring youngster in the club who we allegedly turned down loan moves for, then proceed to persist with Saido. If Campbell isn't a better option than berahino he might as well find himself a new club or even retire.
The new manager seemingly hasn't sorted a designated penalty taker.
We have a young winger who is very raw but works hard up and down the pitch, who scored twice over Christmas and again in a reserve game, yet he hasn't played a single second under the new manager whilst some lousy tosspot who has pissed around for half a season immediately gets game time.
Our new manager talks great but he's a clueless fucking idiot who hasn't got a fucking clue about anything. He doesn't know where to turn for a solution to his and his teams ineptitude.
To top it all off he then proceeds to give the most laughable, deluded interview to the local radio station where he describes our performance as excellent, claims we have a really good team and then says he's disappointed by the break because we are in really good form.
Seriously? Just fuck off and take coates Jnr, scholes and cartwright with you. Useless fucking wankers the lot of them.

He was a cheap & lazy appointment. Thoroughly uninspiring.
One thing that is puzzling me is that some people are saying we are too slow and ponderous in possession (overplaying), others say it’s hoof & hope. It’s just a mess.
I just cannot work out what on earth the plan is. What are the tactics? How are we trying to play? Just seems a right mess at the moment.

surely its best to just say...too early to tell, some good signs, but lets see how we do against the better quality opposition?
We have won 1 away all season, now im not being pre-judgemental, but i honestly think that we will stay up on our away form, because our home form is nothing but inconsistent. Our away from is the opposite on the dire side of things and well, if we only win 1 all season, we probably deserve to go down. If we can win a couple of away games, and a couple of home games, it goes a massive massive way towards staying in the league

But what language does he speak? I have big problems to understand what he's saying.
