Bog rolls and bus ticket rolls were great, really miss those days now. I think it was the 78 World Cup in Argentina where we all saw ticker tape confetti swirling around those huge stadiums. The following season the Boothen erupted with bog rolls, bus ticket rolls and about a thousand copies of the Sentinel which lads had shredded prior to kick off ๐ Made for a great spectacle, although the apprentices who swept the ground on a Monday werenโt too pleased ๐ Is this where the bog roll/bus ticket thing came from then? I can't remember that far back, I started going as a kid around 1989 and remember it being a permanent match day fixture from then until the mid 90s with it suddenly died off when we moved grounds. I always wondered where the idea had came from and when it first started.

Donโt know where the bog roll thing first started. It was great though ๐
