It's making the Brighton game a match of epic proportions. The pack's thinning..and a win for Brighton will I believe signal the start of the end. Don't think there's been such an important game at the bet365 has there?

Even a win on saturday will only delay the inevitable as i do not see many more winnable games.

Watford are playing to their strengths and making sure Dean has some difficult decisions to make which research shows he usually gets wrong.

Most probably true. 1 point only from watford then Bournemouth has killed us. Brighton on Saturday is almost irrelevant, stoke won't get another point away from home all season the way we defend

Bloody hell I hope all the negative folk on this thread stay away from the games. With that attitude we’re definitely done. So pointless to be that negative.
On another subject, how frustrating is it wanting a crap Chelsea team to win? Especially as their best hope is sitting on the bench.

That's my point... Six points is becoming a giant chasm.

It had to be that fat useless wanker scoring as well.
Fuck off Chelsea, the one time you actually want a top 4 side to do you a favour and they trip over their own dicks.
Useless.

I don,t think its being negative people are concerned & some of us are realists who can see how serious our postion is. Its no good thinking everything is rosy & sticking your head in the sand.

I can do the maths. I know the position we’re in. But if my 0.1% of positivity might just help then I think I should do it. Is being realistic, as you call it, in any way constructive? I’ll have an inquest once our fate is known but I see no point being negative for the sake of it when we are still in with a shout. The number of teams around us makes that a possibility.

Makes our draw at Watford look more respectable.
We seem to keep playing sides (Newcastle, Palace, *, Watford, Bournemouth ) at the "wrong" time, whereas other clubs have played them when they have had a poor run of form. Burnley played many of them at the start of the season when they had poor runs before changing managers. * +West Ham.

Eight teams within three points of each other then. I guess you're technically right but I'm not sure one team pulling three points away from nine others at the bottom amounts to a thinning of the pack. The entire bottom half is still insanely tight. They haven't won yet either...
