Brighton 3 Leicester 0 Soton 1 Man City 0 Everton 3 Arsenal 0 Spurs 0 West Ham 1 Burnley 3 Liverpool 0 Palace 3 Swansea 1 I think we'll get 15 points from those games. We then will end on 39 points which hopefully will be enough to scratch clear from relegation, or at lest I hope so! I think this is the minimum of points we need to stay up this season!

Brighton 3 (Our biggest game in 10 years) Leicester 0 (Always struggle at Leicester) Soton 1 (Done well when we've been at Soton. We'll have to get something from them) Man City 0 (Too good for us) Everton 0 (Everton will beat us) Arsenal 0 (have we ever won at the Emirates) Spurs 0 (Spurs always tear us apart) West Ham 0 (West ham will be too good) Burnley 1 (Our next point) Liverpool 0 ( too fast for us) Palace 3 ( massive game. Think we'll win) Swansea 0 ( they will show more fight) To the championship we go. Coates out.

You might aswell toss a coin
As to whether we stay up or go down
Wimmer loses his marker from a corner.. Down Wimmer blocks a shot with his backside from a corner.. Up Diouf powers a header over the bar.. Down Diouf powers a header into the goal.. Up
Its a team game, but Individual moments with Individual players will decide our fate

8 realistically winnable games. We need to win half of them. It’s still easily our own fate to decide

Struggling to find more than 11pts - 35 won't be enough. Don’t bother with the permutations and take it game by game mate, you’ll keep your sanity that way as the results we predict rarely materialise anyway....

Looking at Southamptons run in even a draw against them isn’t the worlds worst result. Everton at home we should be looking to get something out of, but really we’re up against it. Yesterday was a massive opportunity missed and agree with those that say next week is our biggest game for years

Southampton are fucked
That away game with them is massive for us.
It could come down to the last game of the season against Swansea away....

So realistically we're going to have to take something from 6 of the 8 non-top 6 games, aren't we?
Christ, that's a hell of an ask.
Possible, definitely. But probable?

Averaging 0.92 points per game currently, at that rate, we gain another 11 points finishing on 35 points.
Been said already but Brighton game, literally our biggest in last 10 years.

Taking only 1 point from watford then Bournemouth sums up our players, our new manager, and our chances.

I have found you a perfectly measured poster; do you see no positives at all? Sorry mate, all the signs are there. If we had not gone ahead yesterday and lost, I would not be so pessimistic. It is the fact that we constantly throw games that we should have won, it betrays issues that we are not going to resolve this season. If we go in front at Southampton, or Leicester, we won't hold out. We may beat brighton, but we will basically need to win 3 of the last five home games, eg Everton, burnley, palace. We may win two of them. We saw yesterday, we have no chance of winning away from home. I'm being realistic here and already thinking about the championship, what team I would play, what manager I would want etc

Wigan Athletic 2011/12
a) Liverpool W 2-1 h) Stoke City W 2-0 a) Chelsea L 1-2 h) Man Utd W 1-0 a) Arsenal W 2-1 a) Fulham L 1-2 h) Newcastle W 4-0 a) Blackburn Rovers W 1-0 h) Wolves W 3-2
Leicester City 2014/15
h) West Ham W 2-1 a) West Brom W 3-2 h) Swansea City W 2-0 a) Burnley W 1-0 h) Chelsea L 1-3 h) Newcastle W 3-0 h) Southampton W 2-0 a) Sunderland D 0-0 h) QPR W 5-1
Both of these teams were dead and buried, we can predict results until the cows come home but there will be so many twists and turns along the way it's hardly worth it. Take it game by game, get behind the team on matchdays and keep the faith.....

Brighton 3 Leicester 0 Soton 1 Man City 0 Everton 1 Arsenal 0 Spurs 0 West Ham 1 Burnley 1 Liverpool 0 Palace 3 Swansea 1 That makes it 35 points for me. I don't think we will get hammered (apart from by maybe Man City) and we will compete - but I can't see us winning enough to scrape survival, unless someone above us hits the skids big-time. We will run it close, but we will just miss out in my honest opinion - the damage may well have already been done - look at the games we've given away points with sloppy defending and silly mistakes. we can, (or have to) beat burnley and everton

We are now 6 points behind last season from the same fixture set and in upcoming fixtures we took 6 points from 9.
We have to match that at the very least in the next 3 games.

Home: Brighton, Everton, Burnley, Palace = min 2 wins+2 draws Man City + Spurs = 0 pts
Away: Leicester, Southampton, West Ham, Swans = min 2 draws Arsenal + Liverpool = 0 pts
Minimum would give us 34 pts total. It's going be close.

The problem with this board is the same problem with the team and it’s management - we have lost games before we have even started. Most people think that we have no chance against the top 6 - why? We need to be positive and believe we always have a chance in every game otherwise we may as well be in the lower leagues

I think realistically we need to pick up points against one of the big boys somewhere along the way..our goal difference already pegs us back a point which could be crucial and may well seal our fate.
