The board of Stoke City or should we say the Coates family have put millions in this club over the past 15 years,I keep hearing about the millions sky put in.Well all that does is cover the running costs and wages. If we went bankrupt due to spending money we don’t have and the club asks the fans to contribute a little more this board would be up in arms.I would also guess 50% of posters on this board don’t even go but watch on a stream,so not even contributing, since the ground as been extended which was asked for by the supporters we have had to give thousands of seats away as we cannot sell them.So we as supporters need to get off our arses and get behind the club and team.

If we go down, we need a concerted campaign to get Peter Coates out. His penny pinching is costing us dear. That’s a good idea ,so who will invest in a club with 12000 supporters.

Just leave it until we find out what our fate is though. We haven't got much choice but to stick together until then because it ain't over til' the fat lady sings. I reckon we're in the process of getting caught out by Premiership snobbery that has set in. Too good to go down, expectation of beating certain teams etc. We lost our siege mentality a couple of years back and look at us now. This is a rot that runs through from board to fans. In a weird way, a dose of the Championship may be what the Dr ordered. Bring some Stokies, at all levels, back down to earth. For me personally, it's the fact that this simply shouldn't be happening. We built a model which all newly promoted teams looked to, and many would even mention us as the example of how to come up, survive and push on. How that has been allowed to be pulled to bits over the last couple of years is scandalous, and stinks of complacency and arrogance from top to bottom. Yes, I'm banging on about it, because I'm angry as fuck about it. However, it IS happening, and we as supporters should give everything we can over these last load of matches. I'll still be there whichever league we're in, with whoever owns us, whoever manages us, and whoever plays for us, just as I have been for the last 40 years.
