Some of the problem is that we are absolutely fucking shit.
We offer pretty much nothing going forward after 60 minutes.
Bournemouth have pace and strength. We have nothing.
Depressingly wank.

Not really. Management was fine except I would have taken Choupo off, he was spent. The 1st goal was an unlucky deflection right to King and the 2nd one was on a set piece given on a clear dive.

He should have made the subs earlier, it was clear they were spent, having said that it was a great first half and you have to give the manager credit for that.

1-0 up under the cosh so we leave crouch on instead of bringing on a striker that could offer a scare on the break or run the channels to offer an outlet. Absolute rank bad management. We should have lost Wednesday, today was never in doubt imo we are just wank

Did Diouf or Berahino even touch the ball after they came on? If they did it couldn't have been many touches.

If anyone is to blame it is the board. Lack of investment and we all know Hughes's time was up in the summer. I don't believe any new man could have changed us that much with the team we have. We spend all that money in the summer on 3 yes 3 centre halfs and 2 ain't in the sqaud. We then leave other areas lacking and expect to get away with it.

Could see by the 55th minute that we needed pace to hit them on the break. And fresh legs in midfield

Crouch and EMCM were the only ones creating anything in the 2nd half. They probably should have came off, but I could see why he left them on at the same time.

Failure to get a new striker has consigned us to relegation.

The 3 Stoke players with the most shots on goal were the 3 players subbed 😳

Games are not won in the first half though, serious lack of substitutions at the right time and a static centre forward cost us big time and for that the manager must take the blame.

Do you really need an explanation ? Have you started watching football last week ? Game plan for the second half should have been to hit them on the break With Crouch up front, his complete absence of pace, we wouldnt have hit them on the break if he was still 20 years old, let alone now that he's 37 and on his last legs So they had nothing to worry about and could push further and further forward until inevitably they scored

Should have made the subs earlier, can't seem to press home the advantage when we are on top, you could see what was coming, they were building up a head of steam, whereas we were visibly tiring.

They aren't but you can't just ignore it, he deserves credit for the way we came out fighting, he did fuck it not making the changes and hopefully he'll learn from that, if we carry on coming out and going at teams for the rest of the season im all for it.

The quality of football in the last 2 games before today was poor.
Huddersfield was poor but the team had good energy throughout and were clinical. Very solid.
Watford was very poor. Similar to the Huddersfield game but without the energy and against a better side.
Seems first half today was decent. From what I've seen of PL's first games I aren't sure what to think but the quality of play has not improved.
Just hoping the clean sheets can get us through. Worrying spell of games after Brighton.

Absolute idiocy, because this is exactly what we DON'T need right now. The second half was terrible and that game was 1 point lost. However win against Brighton and that will be 7 points out of 12. And will see us out of the relegation zone. All we need to do is be 17th or higher by the end of the season.
It is going to be tough and these next few months are not going to be pretty. We will pick up points and lose points all over the place, but we as a fanbase need to get behind them. Save the berating and the open heart surgery until the end of the season.
Unlucky today lads.. GOOOARN STOKE AND GOAARN PAUL!

That was some Hughes esque game management today. We allow teams to attack us at will because we don’t give them anything to worry about at the other end.
Choupo was fucked after an hour and had stopped tracking their full back, Crouch was fucked and completely ineffective. Diouf and Ramadan should have come on while it was still 1-0.
Once again it seems we’ve got a re-active rather than pro-active manager.
