After watching Berahino at Coventry i would find it very hard to choose him over Crouch. He really was that bad. The whole team looked shyte at Coventry, thought he looked hungry in his cameo midweek. Only because Lambert has been starving him and making him do some physical exercise.

How do you know he wouldn't have played Crouch even if the we had got a striker in? Answer. You don't. As someone has already pointed out Bournemouth are small and are vulnerable to set pieces. On those grounds Crouch is a pretty good option. Oh - and just to save you the effort - it's all Hughes's fault anyway. You are stating the obvious now, 99% of us know we are in the mess because of Hughes's incompetence, I take it you are happy with the striker potions we have then ? Yes. A new addition would have been good but it's not the big deal you and some others are making out. Oh look we've scored without bringing in a new striker. That can't be right. I blame Hughes.

Would rather Berahino start, with Crouch as an option Gotta admire your patience medway!!! He's NOT the answer, he doesn't look like he's even close to breaking his duck... And even when/if he does, I don't buy into this "one goal and the flood gates will open" lark!!!

He’s not a hold-up player like Crouch. I was referring to the Coventry game mate, where against league 2 opposition he was owned. If he can't look even remotely the part in these sort of games, then i can't see him having much of a future in the premier/championship to be honest.
