Dunno if it’s been covered already?
But he played out of his skin and that set up for the second WOW
Shame he couldn’t get one of 2/3 chances he had.

A marked change in his attitude. Even played through a knock. Everything is a breath of fresh air at the minute.

Worked hard but should have had 2 which would have topped off an already excellent day.
To add to this, shows that mark Hughes had completely lost him.

Great assist for Diouf aside thought he had a really iffy game, like ha had the wrong boots on. However he absolutely worked his socks off.

I thought his celebrations for both goals showed his passion and commitment too.

It was ironic that his attitude was spot on but his shooting boots let him down. If he keeps it going for the rest of the season we will be laughing.

Really hope we get a decent winger(Harrison)? In Shaqiri can go to number 10 position, think we'd see the real Shaqiri then

I'd argue his attitude has generally been great and he has been pissed off at Hughes and the players around him.

I actually thought Shaq was off the pace yesterday. BUT he earned his beer with the dinky little set up for Dioufy. That was class.

Not saying it wasn't, however is that a poor attitude or a culmination of frustration given how we were playing? I also don't understand why fans are so quick to get at him when he misses a chance or a pass. He is our best player by a mile - and one of the best in the PL at creating chances.

I dont think he was off the pace, he just didn't have his shooting boots on. On top of setting up Diouf he had 3 great (by his standards) chances to score, very nearly had a fourth of Diouf could have got the ball from under his feet and also set up a good Crouch/Choupo chance. Not forgetting his disallowed goal. If he gets/does that every game but hits the net then we will be fine.

I thought he had a very good game from an attitude and commitment stand point unfortunately he didnt quite have his shooting boots on. Like its been pointed out his pressing made Mooy make a stupid pass to start off the move for the 2nd goal.
If only he was a yard quicker.

Diouf was up front over Crouch, that seemed to make the world of difference for Shaq.
Moritz also seems to be helping.

If he keeps working as hard as he did yesterday you can forgive him for not being at his best. Even still he set up the killer goal which will do for me. It's when he can't be arsed to put a shift in that won't be tolerated by any fans, but his quality still shone through whilst not being 100% on his game.

The attitude throughout the team was spot on, Shaqiri included. But I don't think he had the best of games (his shooting was poor and he should have buried the one in one) other than the lovely setup for Diouf which was a moment of magic. I'm not saying he shouldn't be starting- he can do things others can't - but there were some better performances on the day in particular all the back four.

Anyone got a video of his "ofside" goal? As usual MOTD didn't show it, well it is stoke

They showed it on the longer highlights on Sky. He was a yard off but certainly something that should have been shown on MOTD. He actually scuffed it and the keeper cocked it up too. Sick of all the talk between games on MOTD which means they don't have time to show more football.
