Savage has been consistent in defending managers facing the sack. But I've never seen him attacking an incoming manager before. This has got to be something personal. Totally unprofessional from Savage, but that's not a surprise. I liked Hughes, but he's definitely in that group of failures now. Will Savage say the same about him when he gets his next job. He's Welsh, so we know the answer to that. Ditto Hartson and Saunders. I think Dean Saunders is a great listen. He comes across brilliantly on both TV and Radio. I've never been anything but really impressed with him to be honest. I agree about Dean Saunders. I was with my lad and one of my grandsons on the way back from watching Wasps v Saracens at the Ricoh the day after we lost against Coventry. Somebody came on 606 I think it was and said he'd seen Dean in a shop buying 8 pairs of nogger boots. Dean went up the wall and called the bloke an out and out liar, saying he'd never bought 8 pairs of boots in his life. He was literally foaming at the mouth but when he calmed down, he said he wouldn't have bought 8 pairs of boots anyway because he always had them given to him. Then he chuckled like a lunatic. Robbie Savage doesn't get under my skin as he does some of you. Like Dennis Wise, on the pitch you hate them but they're characters and God knows we don't have enough of those these days. Nogger is very much like a panto and you always need a villain, but with nogger, instead of saying, "He's behind you!" you say, "Fuck off you dirty/crazy/ugly bastard!". As for what he may have said about Lambert, I'm sure our manager won't lose any sleep over it. OS.

Ex footballers by and large make useless pundits. They just don't understand the fan's viewpoint and refuse to accept that they are ever wrong. I can't understand why they're allowed to clog up the TV and Radio studios with their statin' the bleedin' obvious comments.
I think Savage is a bully.

As bad as it was, atleast we didn’t crumble to a 3-0 defeat at home to a relegation rival like we did under Hughes.
