Yes, we need toughness and lots of it, but FFS, one of the things we need in a relagation scrap is GOALS. Or has no one noticed that we've score exactly once since West Brom?! We don't have the team for Pulis-ball, and aren't going to stay up with 15 nil-nil draws the rest of the way. Get 'im back. Actually, this season we might just (stay up with 15 nil nil draws) but you wouldn't bet on us keeping 15 clean sheets

The messiah is coming home 👍 Messiah?? On the back of a couple of good games in 3 years Why so negative? He isn’t playing for Alaves, he’s our player and he might do something to help, but even if he doesn’t, we’ve lost nothing. It’s not like he is trouble in the dressing room! No brainer, surely?

If it had been Bojan and not Ireland that those two first half chances had fallen to in the 18 yard box last night, Bojan would have buried at least one of them. Some will say he wouldn't have got into those positions, I am pretty certain that he would.

Bring him home, we need every piece of artillery we have at our disposal and none of our current squad finish as well as he does. If he's no use to man nor beast then so be it, but we won't know with him sat on the bench at Alaves. A couple of hours with BojanMackey and he'll be like a new man

Ireland at number 10? Christ, we really are in the mire. Play Shaq and Bojan behind Diouf with Shaq able to go wide as and when. It's risky as we'd have to get by with one orthodox winger and ensure we have two sitting in midfield, but it would be exciting! Thought he played well last night. Opinions eh? I thought he played well to but he was shot after 60 mins. He has also missed three golden opportunities to score, 1 cov, 2 Utd. I just don't think he will be fully up and running for another 6-8 weeks and we can't wait for that. Bojan should be fit and raring to go.

New manager clean sheet for the players. Bring them back and judge afresh, nothing to lose. If they don't make it and we stay up there os going to be a rid out on summer I expect

He's not been in the Alaves squad for 3 matches in a row. Surely he has to be on his way back, regardless of whether Lambert requests his return?

YESSSSSSSS, I can’t wait for him to punch me in the kidneys as he violates me with a stainless steel bog brush, then scrubs my face with it like the worthless harlot I am.

when will people realise the reason he was loaned out is because he is crap , done really well at Mainz and alaves hasnt he.NOT !! He had his time here but injury has done for him I agree. Not the same player he was before his ACL rupture and never will be.

Not the same player he was before his ACL rupture and never will be. Pre-injury:Apps: 18 Goals: 5 Win%: 33% Post-injury:Apps: 36 Goals: 10 Win%: 36% 2015/16 (the last season in which he started 3 or more games in a row.):Apps: 27 Goals: 7 (2nd top scorer) Win%: 41% The last time Bojan got a run of 3 or more games for any team was after the Tottenham game of April 2016. He had scored 2 in 2 before that. This just takes into account goals and win percentage too. No mention made of the fact that in 2015/16 his performances with Arnie and Shaq brought the best performances I've ever seen from a Stoke team, that left us 5 points off the top 4 with 7 games to go. Or that taking just his goals away (not his performances) would leave us 20 points worse off over the 45 games he played in his first two seasons. This is the weirdest and most confusing case of selective memory from a large group of Stoke fans I've ever seen. It's even weirder than 'Ryan Shawcross is past it'. Get this argument in the bin where it belongs.

Not in the 18 again tonight - think this is the 4th game in a row.
The Alaves President has said it's for the best he comes back. He allegedly want to come back. But it doesn't seem like we want him, does it?
Bit of a shame he's got to waste the next 6 months of his life.
But maybe we don't want to go back to paying his full wage again if we don't think he's going to contribute?
Hard to see him having any future here if we don't even want him back in these circumstances, with a new broom sweeping through the club and with him being totally unwanted at his loan club?
