Don't think he'd be much use in the situation we're in to be honest, that being said - it would be a good move to help get the fans back onside. I also don't feel he is what we need at this time and think bringing him back then not using him would be worse than leaving him where he is.

Bojan is keen to return to Stoke City and help new manager Paul Lambert steer the club away from the Premier League relegation zone, the Sentinel understands.

Fair few on here thinking that we're not playing football, so we don't need footballers. Surely that makes no sense? We don't have the players to play hoofball, so why try to? It's the reason we are where we are, doing a poor Pulis impression with players that don't suit. Yesterday was our best performance in months, and we were passing the ball quickly and precisely, but most importantly, along the ground.

The more options the better is the simple answer. Can’t see him being used much but you never know - we certainly haven’t got any better finishers on the books.

We need someone who takes chances, get Bojan back, and put him up top with Diouf or Crouch behind him. If he gets a chance in the box, I'd wager he would score.

Based on last night Ireland is a better option or Shairi as 10 with a new pacy wide man

The teams he's been on loan to are awful, and I really dont see that he can be judged to any real degree since he last had a run of games.

Get him back, as he has a point to prove against the old manager and obviously likes the club/fans.

I'm not sure that he's what we need for a relegation scrap but I'm certain that he would have converted at least one of those chances last night. Give him a free role, tighten up at the back and we could be a different proposition. I don't think it would do any harm to recall a natural goalscorer but he's going to have to work his bollocks off.

Yes, we need toughness and lots of it, but FFS, one of the things we need in a relagation scrap is GOALS. Or has no one noticed that we've score exactly once since West Brom?! We don't have the team for Pulis-ball, and aren't going to stay up with 15 nil-nil draws the rest of the way. Get 'im back.

Where are peoples heads at?! If he can't get in a team who are 4th from bottom in a weaker league how is he going to improve our situation?? Once upon a time, before signing for us, Mark Stein was struggling to get a game in Oxford reserves if my memory serves me right. Harry Kane was almost sold millwall as he wasn’t rated, then tiny Tim sherwood came along.

This is all well and good until he's benched due to being ineffective and wants out again.

This is all well and good until he's benched due to being ineffective and wants out again. that's not improbable however we are out of time & short on options as stated above he has a point to prove re Muniesa & Imbula am I right in thinking we can't recall Imbula as it's a season long loan? Re Imbula is he still at Toulouse or not? Jese loan cancelled or not?

Any loan can be terminated but it has to have the agreement of both clubs and the player.
Bojan is probably not the answer but he's hugely popular with players and supporters and his return would probably give everyone a huge lift.

Always guaranteed increased decibels when he is on the field. He loves us and we love him. He's a natural goalscorer but we need to get solid defensively to accommodate him.

Didn't PL use Carlos Gil (sp?) in that role at Villa during his spell?
A player I always thought to be in the Bodger bracket (but not as good), so maybe he wouldn't be averse to it and have him back as a ten.
Worrying though that his two loans have been spectacularly unsuccessful and I too fear that the pre Rochdale BK is long gone.

Ireland at number 10? Christ, we really are in the mire. Play Shaq and Bojan behind Diouf with Shaq able to go wide as and when. It's risky as we'd have to get by with one orthodox winger and ensure we have two sitting in midfield, but it would be exciting!

If you've got a bojan or a Shaq on the pitch, the opposition are always wary of what's around them. Even if they are not having a great game, these type of players and names mean opposition defenders will never leave them unmarked leaving space for others. Agreed that’s where Burnley away went wrong when shaq went off it freed up at least two of their players
