As a manager, would you want an ex-manager of numerous clubs waiting in the wings behind you ? Didn't bother Pulis having Jerry Francis or Peter Reid around. I think as long as you know you've got good owners who're not going to screw you over,at the first sight of hard times you're alright. I think Coates has proved he's certainly not knee-jerk when it comes to sacking managers. Peter Coates appointed Mills number two,Alan Ball, over him. Mills got rid of Brian Talbot because Talbot wanted his job. But that's 30 years ago. You are probably right.

Schteve is keen for number 1 again, but I see your point about PC being loyal, maybe too loyal for some.

Ian Culverhouse was sacked at Villa, for slating his own players on the training ground. So what. “If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen”. Carrot and stick (up the arse if necessary).

McClaren is a bad manager but a very good coach I have heard. They would make as good a team to guide us as we could get at the moment! As a manager, would you want an ex-manager of numerous clubs waiting in the wings behind you ? I don’t see a problem provided the respective roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.

Come to think of it they could all do with dropping a few pounds (except Crouch who has always been a bag of bones).

I can see PL putting Crouch on the 'John Parkin diet' and him waddling out against Watford looking like Akinfenwa.

Have you got any clue really about the calibre of this fitness coach??? Of course he hasn't. Just lashing out on every thread about anything and everything. He's not even had a day at our club yet. Just read through threads and posts, he is bloody negative.

Who will manage the under 18's now Russell is first team coach?. I assume Hodges has been replaced by Wade Elliot officially?

They looked awful, and wolves lacking fitness was reported in papers at the time for being a major issue. I also know a lot of wolves fans saying there team was unfit.

You can't do that by being unfit.

On the basis he was there from 2007 including the Mick McCarthy era, not someone who shirks I assume you think Wolves were unfit for 10 years.
