PAUL LAMBERT'S RED AND WHITE ARMY

I’ve been informed by a source in the professional game he knows of at least a handful of managers who have said they would never manage Stoke because of the way we’ve been perceived to ‘unfairly’ turn on Pulis and Hughes. Starting to kick off at either board or new manager when we’re actually needed to show some support is hardly going to kill the image we have nationally of being completely ungrateful inbreds is it? Hahaha, fucking bullshit. I’m sure a club that has only sacked two managers in 20 years and has money, in no way appeals to any manager, just because we sacked pulis and Hughes. If you’re going to make shit up and then pass it off as fact from a “source in the professional game” at least make it sound plausible. I’m talking about the way we’ve been perceived as fans to turn on manager, not about the way our club handles recruitment/ sacking. It’s hardly surprising is it? Just look at the media reaction to our so called ‘protests’ against Pulis and Hughes. They were hardly worthy of the coverage they got, but the media have painted a picture of us as ungrateful and love to throw out a ‘be careful what you wish for’ don’t they? Again, call it nonsense if you want, but unfortunately that’s the way we’ve been depicted. It similar to how we aren’t all absolute scumbags, but because Arsenal fans flood twitter with enough rubbish it’s believed by a lot of outsiders. Look, if people want to protest against Lambert before he’s even managed a game then go for it. I’m just pointing out that, according to Someone I know, that it might not lead to a queue of highly talented well respected managers queuing up at the gates to pick up the pieces. It doesn’t seem that ludicrous to me.

I sincerely hope no fucker as vain as that big arm waving fanny in the Arsenal shirt yesterday starts that song and dance at the Brit. "Ooh, I might just become a meme GIF or be seen on MoTD2 2Good 2Bad..." Fuck me sideways, what has it come to when a man closer to retirement than his 21st starts gesticulating in such spectacular fashion with one eye on the cameras, hoping for his nano-second in the sun-matrix. Fucking hell, he may as well feign a domestic accident involving a dog and a tricycle to rob Harry Hill of £250 for You've Been A Right Show Off Cunt.
Let's just get on with trying the help the players out of this mess.

Horseshit. Our reaction to Pulis was no different to fans of nearly every other club he managed, and Hughes was given plenty of credit in the bank before the majority turned. Fans of other clubs were staggered that he wasn't under more pressure until the last few weeks. You’ve summed it up with the word ‘fans’ to be honest. I’m talking about managers/coaches and the impression a small set have had. Don’t forget there wasn’t any major protest against Hughes, but Sky Sports showed it in a way that it appeared to be a big deal, and when Pulis lost the home games against Villa and West Ham in his last year the written press made it sound like we were protesting much worse than we were. You only really have to look at how the one manager who’s as ‘famous’ , for want of a better word, as you’d expect clubs as big as Villa or Newcastle to have, has spent as much time trying to deflect all blame at the owner as he possibly can. And let’s be honest, other than a rare season or two, they haven’t been that bad. A few ‘Pardew Out’ bed sheets being displayed at a match is hardly the worst thing that can happen in the world. Take what I’m saying with a pinch of salt if you want, but just don’t think that the reality of a situation actually means that people from the outside of it see it that way. If we start going all Villa fan style on McCleish, we’re certainly going to be made to look as bad as possible in the media. There aren’t really aren’t any other clubs in the league who’s fans are currently kicking off as much: Probably because other clubs around us acted quicker than us in changing managers.

Are the Protest begin considered now. Sky are at Stoke ground today. Stoke fans get down and speak out. Lambert stats are not good since he left Norwich. We need fans then to protest away from game and at the training ground. Two and half year deal Erm, knob!

You mean yourself No, I'm pretty sure he means you - and he is far from alone in holding that opinion! How are the protest plans going? Have you had the 25,000 red cards produced yet? Got any good chants for us all to sing?

The time for protesting is over
We should have protested for Hughes to be replaced much earlier but that's water under the bridge now
Now is the time to back the team and the new manager not to protest !!!
I can't understand all the negativity about Lambert's appointment
Let's give him a chance ffs and give him all the backing needed

Utter bollocks... Watford are more unfair on managers than us. Totally agree, what a load of horseshit this is.If this were the case Arseholes will never have another manager. Also, given the fantastic pay and severance packages managers don't care, they're the same as players, they're employees and if the money's right they'll work for you and when they don't fancy it anymore they'll bugger off.

Bloody Hell, let's at least give Lambert a chance- he has put his head in the Croc's mouth, something others didn't want to do. With a bit of luck he may do enough to keep us up. If he does, I hope the others who have had a part in this debacle (Scholes and Cartwright) find their positions being subject to a serious review- as Lakeland said, too many changes in one week probably guarantees relegation.
