Have the Sentinel REALLY done a Football Manager scouting report? Man alive. Why not? It’s the same thing Cartwright uses. It’s cheap too......😉

If all we do is chase this guy and fall at the work permit hurdle we're stuffed! Surely, the work permit thing is one of the FIRST elements to research?? If he can't get one......everything turns to shit, doesn't it?

So the source is discredited. There is no prospect of Newcastle spending money like that this window

Most of us know diddly fuck about how SCFC conduct their transfer buisness, just as there were lots of ill-informed assumptions based on the media-led presentation of our appointment of a new manager.
We all know they play their cards close to their chest and that the process is more secretive than the College of Cardinals electing a new pope. Wait for the white smoke.

I don't think it's wise spending silly money either so there must be a limit to what we are willing to pay for a target. If we have to pay £3-5M more we might even be able to bring someone better in. It's always about value for money. We have actually paid way too much for three player in short time and my impression is that most supporters aren't too pleased about that either.

Instead of bidding £18m why not bid £20m plus Imbula?

Or a straight swap deal, we get him and they get Berahino, Wimmer and Imbula?

Judging by this clip, he can get past a player with ease, much like Imbula can.
No idea what he's like defensively.

I'm going to be a lone voice of dissent.
One of our previous managers amply demonstrated that it's no long term strategy, but I wish that the board would just bite the bullet and pay the premium for some domestic based players. We are in a crisis and need players who will make an instant impact, not another Carto special where we have to wait six months to see if he's less rubbish after a pre-season.

Why don't we go after attainable midfielders not failed permit players?

Talking of Newcastle, they have Henri Saivet, who we were keen on a while back. Hasn't played much for them for some reason, but he was very good for Bordeaux.
Apparently Montpellier are after him on loan. Surely worth another look?

A beast in the midfield 3 is required but I don't know too much about this Badou fellow. From the clips I've seen of him, he looks very decent but perhaps someone else on here can educate me on what sort of player he is. As for the fee, 17 mill euros is the standard fee for any half decent midfielder these days. The squad needs reinforcing, there's no 2 ways about it and we can't afford to shop in pound-land again.

9m euros mentioned here. Doesn't sound that reliable? www.fotospor.com/haber-gomis-marsilyaya-ndiaye-stokea-belhanda-ise-korfeze-276943Cengiz exchanged opinions with Fatih Terim about the sale of the players who could bring money like Bafetimbi Gomis, Badou Ndiaye and Younes Belhanda in the first stage. The term, '' Galatasaray first, '' he gave permission to sell.
Apart from this, Galatasaray, who is looking for Ndiaye customers through the managers, made important progress with Stoke City.
It is said that Marseille has offered 6 million Euros for Gomis, 9 million Euros from Stoke, and 11 million Euros for one of the Gulf country teams for Belhanda.
