Spinksy's tweet leads me to believe he's gone/going. Is it correct that Spinks pretty much has to have the sign off from the club before publishing stuff?

Spinksy's tweet leads me to believe he's gone/going. I must admit that’s the first time I’ve felt an inkling of doubt about his short term future.

They probably have someone to take over from Les. Just waiting for the legalities, and final decision from the new manager. I think. Are you ITK or is this just wishful thinking?

Clear signs that Hughes has lost some of the players and now most of the fans, no manager can survive that.

Get Gary Rowett in. Go on Coatsey lad, pull the trigger. I'm really not sure why he's a popular choice on here, he's only managed for a very short time in the lower leagues, has nothing on his CV to suggest he can handle a premier league club in freefall. Massive gamble and one I wouldn't even think about.

The swathes of empty seats will get Coates and Scholes's attention, especially being in the new corner. Good chant from the geordies to be fair, "They're here, they're there, they're every fuckingwhere, empty seats, empty seats" The bottom tier sung that at Man City without realising we'd not sold out the upper tier.

Getting rid of him now is an even worse decision than not sacking him in December.

Spinksy's tweet leads me to believe he's gone/going. It’s confirmed it for me .....it’ll be announced tomorrow I reckon When he mentioned Hughes being “on the brink” in his article before that tweet, I did wonder whether it was informed or not. With it being Spinks I imagine something must be afoot. If it’s not a sacking it’s a definite crisis meeting.

I won't hold my breathe Deeside, although if the board don't act quickly and decide to keep Hughes it will have a huge effect on Season ticket sales wether we stay up or not. Keep him and people won't gamble on buying one for next season whilst he is in charge I am sure. Season ticket sales did for Pulis and if he stays ( which I doubt ) they’ll do for Hughes The amount of people who couldn't be arsed today even though Newcastle sold every one of their tickets can't be lost on them either. People used to complain that you couldn't get two tickets together, today you could have got two coachloads together. Hopefully that corner and the spaces elsewhere is also serve as a timely reminder of how well we will be supported in the Championship.

I'd rather Eriksson over any of the others other tga n o neil Left field Fabio Capello or van gaal short term just for 17 games on a big bonus for keeping us up or Eriksson full time. Some fucking experience on them 3

Someone to inject some new energy in the team before a long term appointment is made in the summer?
