Whilst I understand that his (Pulis) style of football isn't always great to watch I don't get all the animosity towards him. Was absolutely fucking immense for this club and should be held in a much higher regard than most supporters do. I wouldn't want him back as that ship has sailed but I'm not going to slag him off at every opportunity either, thanks and good luck to him in whatever venture he turns to next. Gouranga.

Is this the self same Tony Pulis getting lambasted on here who took Stoke City from the Championship to the Premier League and on to an FA Cup Final and Europe after 15 other managers had tried and failed over the previous quarter of a century? It can't be...

"Garry Monk was sacked by Middlesborough because of his playing style" "Middlesborough are in talks with Tony Pulis"
One can only imagine that Monk refused to just c*nt it long.

Then there are those who just never liked him from the off regardless of what he achieved. H

One thing is for sure, it's a different challenge for him compared to his recent past and fair play if he takes it. Taking a big club on in a very challenging league means he can't afford to play the 'plucky underdog' card. Good luck to him if he goes for it, it's a real test of how good a manager he is.

He's considering it 'cause it's highly unlikely he'll get a Premier job this season. Looking at things now:
Swansea - Stated he will not be next manager West Brazil - Sacked and replaced by Pardew Bournemouth - Looks like they will stick with Howe West Ham - Replaced Bilic with Moyes Crystal Palace - Replaced de Boer with Hodgson Newcastle - No chance Rafa will be going Stoke - Looks like they are sticking with Hughes/Highly unlikely after the alleged bust up with John Coates last time Southampton - Probably would expect to do better than Pulis Brighton - Sticking with Houghton Huddersfield - Sticking with Wagner Watford - Silva goes/they would go foreign again.
