Have I seriously just read that we shouldn’t even be in the Premiership?
It’s that sort of scared of your own shadow bollocks that that cretin has instilled into a worrying portion of our fanbase, he’s like a cult leader still with a few brainwashed minions spread throughout Staffordshire, and the reason it’ll take decades before we start emerging from the football dark ages.

It is not. Pulis collected natural leaders that my friend is a fact. Loads of them captained teams at some point Mark Hughes has managed for longer and more successfully in the PL than your hero. Remind me what division they are managing in. And yes, it's time for a change of manager at Stoke City. He's not my hero but I won't slag him off like people do on here. I do agree he went stale but he give stoke some of the best times in history. Put the club back on the map, I don't understand the abuse directed towards him on here, yet anyone you talk to anywhere else has him high in opinion

It amazes me that he still generates so much interest on this board despite being several clubs removed from our own!
Some people just cannot let go, on both sides.

Bit of a difference I'd say

Pulis picks 'Boro over Soton so he can have another stab at promotion glory and not risk losing his never relegated tag. Shocking attempt at a dig. Get a grip It's not a dig, it's an honest hypothesis for a manager who has built a reputation over the last decade on never been relegated. Its not something he will want to give up lightly, and bizarrely, given my antipathy towards him, I don't blame him either.

That’s just shit mate to my knowledge Soton have a manager They might not have for much longer and the longer Pulis was without a club the more tempting it would be for Premier League clubs struggling to bring Pulis in... but he can't keep on keeping teams up. It's not as if the 'never been relegated' has the suffix 'and never will'.

Why are Stoke fans so fixated with discussing Pulis?
He is part of our history, hopefully never again part of our future. It's like someone being obsessed by an old girlfriend or boyfriend. It's much better for all concerned to get over it and move on.
I can understand the discussions surrounding our current manager and the situation we are currently in, but who is really interested in Pulis's motivation for taking on another club? It's clearly MONEY first and foremost along with his EGO.

We all have eyes and memories and can see what he did here and at other clubs. Good manager, absolute prick of a human being. And a fraudster. Just in case you hadn't realised.

He'd get a decent bonus for getting anyone promoted into the money pit. Broadening his horizons.

Just in case you hadn't realised. Fraudster yes, prick of a human is subjective the guy raised thousands for the Donna Louise while manager that’s no absolute prick in my book. As for his meltdown after Pulis ball mark2 was successful and the transformation into that abortion of a system that was mark3 he’s a prick of a manager.

Dave, seriously, who gives a fuck what Palarse and Baggies fans think? Whilst I agreed at the time, he had to go, no-one can take away what he did for this football club. IMHO that makes him the second best manager we have EVER had, only behind Tony Waddington, and not by that much.

Why can’t people just accept he did a great job, got stale and moved on?
I’ll always be grateful but I don’t want him back.
And I don’t think it’s right he gets slagged off

Boro 0 Fulham 1 Boro - 37% Posession and no shots on target
At least some other fans might be dreading these next few months and not just us seeing the PL aspirations fade away
