Graham Poll in today’s Mail says Lanzini dived, but not bad enough to warrant a ban.
Total cock.
If you dive, you cheat. Automatic ban for me.
And I’d also charge Moyes with bringing the game into disrepute by saying Lanzini was fatigued!

This was just one dive that west ham did throughout the game I think they have been watching to much of tom Daley training at the aquatic centre or is he now there diving coach think based on the first half 2 or 3 of there players need retrospective bans

If a goal being scored from a penalty which was 'earned' by diving isn't enough to warrant a ban, then I don't know what would be enough for Poll.
It's an idiotic thing for him to say.

I would be the Alan Sugar on this subject. You are banned. You are banned. You are banned. You are banned. Saw at least four dives this weekend. All which should have ended in a ban. Point the finger you lily livered officials. That will stop the cheats!

Hopefully it's just click bait from a now professional pundit.
To say it's a dive which he appealed for shouldn't merit a ban is utterly ridiculous.

Fucking fatigued... OK David, he ran 70 yards, and at the exact moment when the challenge went in he was so fatigued he had no option but to throw himself to the ground, yet moments later he wasn't fatigued any more and ran around fine for the rest of the game. He should be ashamed of himself. Fucking prick.

It was 10x worse than the one niasse got banned for, in that one there was actual contact. There was zero contact in saturdays dive

It's not diving, it's cheating. There isn't another sport on God's green earth where cheating is given a different name and then debated over and over.

Ref was the wrong side wasn't he (not his fault) but he must have just guessed at a foul on the balance of probabilities. A shameful episode for Lanzini and shameful for West Ham really unless Moyes 'fatigue' defence was tongue in cheek.

We need to stop bloody whinging about this. It's just feeding the negative vibe on this board. The next game is what's important not the last one.

So I dug through the rulebook and found the exact wording from the FA:
- A dive is the action of attempting to gain an unfair advantage. - A dive can only be considered a dive if you play for a shit team below 6th. - West Ham United are immune to this rule as they once won the world cup and the last thing we want to do is piss off brother Trevor.

We were on the receiving end of a bad decision, but any debate now or in the future, isn't going to change the result. I just feel we're using the incident to look for reasons and excuses to explain away the defeat. Just my opinion and no offence meant before anyone vents their spleen

I do know what you're saying but it shouldn't be brushed under the carpet and forgotten which is what West Ham, the London media and the FA want to happen.

Dermot Gallagher said it was a dive and contact initiated by lanzini, but has no idea if the fa will do anything about it after recent reviews. The FA are just a fookin bumbling mess.

The panel have reviewed and decided it was a dive so unless he can up with some evidence to contest their view he will be banned.

If Niasse got a 2 game ban for being body-checked then Lanzini can't possibly get away with that. He was going over before he even brushed Pieters' thigh...
