Unbelievable arrogance by both him and the club. All the hard working fans who will be spending their hard earned cash and freezing their knackers off to support the team. Don’t worry, Hughes is facing his Xmas meal with the owners at a 5 star restaurant. Jesus wept ...I’ve actually read it all now The bastards

Come on then, what's he said that's got everyone so angry this time then........???? If anyone has the strength to look back on here 5 years to the last days of Pulis you'll find exactly the same thing. Pulis would say the same things he had always said at press conferences without anyone taking a blind bit of notice but once a majority of folks had made their minds up that he was part of the problem rather than part of the solution everything he said was held up to ridicule and rammed back down his throat. If we were sitting in 8th place now on 27 points and had lost to an 89th minute goal against Burnley and Hughes had pointed out that football is a chancy business and we were unfortunate to lose on the night no one would have blinked, not least because it is true. Hughes and the team need to stay laser focussed on improving the outcomes, if they can do that everything else will fix itself but no one is saying that will be easy. They can do it though, all hope is certainly not yet lost.

He is not going to come out and say he is under pressure. His comments are an attempt to put the fire out of the fans for him to go. People now might think it's pointless to protest because he ain't going anywhere.

oh well, at least when we get relegated we can take comfort from the fact we were top of the stats table. ![:-S](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kdD1n42dnzYd3v59eUB_.gif) I think the point is, if we continue to top the stats table in our future matches like we did the last game, the odds are we won't get relegated.

They went to Bella Epoque in Knutsford a couple of seasons back and Crewe Hall last season I believe. Both very pleasant but they're not exactly Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester............

Those criticising him here are doing so for the sake of it. If he managed the team as well as he managed the press conferences we'd be in the champions league places.
He'll be right on the stats for burnley game as well and it is comforting that they analyse the game in such depth.
If such things help keep the players confident during this terribly difficult time then I'm all for it.
Despite huge pressure, he's handled it impeccably in my opinion.

How times change.
When he first came to the club his press conferences were like a breath of fresh air, a shining light in a world of darkness that Pulis had plunged us into, no more talk of "bonus games" and no more bulling up every opponent as if they were some sort of world beaters. We had talk of going toe to toe with every club we faced, talking up our team for once and then actually going into away games and trying to win, it actually came to a point where I was looking forward to his press conferences.
Now we've gone full circle and just looking at his miserable, excuse making, bollock spouting face makes me want to never put my TV on again just in case he's on it. How the fuck this bloke has done what he's done is anyone's guess but its a fuck up of monumental proportions, and how he's still got a job I'll never know.

I don’t give a fuck if he’s swinging with his Mrs, with the state of our situation he feels it’s appropriate to say everything’s all right with the owners because I’m going out for Xmas dinner with them. That’s basically a Fuck you to everyone, I’m not going anywhere. Now thus is probably the case, but there’s no need to rub our faces in the shit.

Very much in Mark's 'plans' ![8-|](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/rY_vRFLA3mqqdMbEG4cF.gif) When you are very much in his 'thoughts' you have no chance of playing, kind of like a long lost great aunt in Bexhill who is very much in everyone's 'thoughts' at Xmas time which means no bugger will be visiting her if she was the last person on earth! 'Plans' sounds more concrete to me, I fancy Berahino will be on the bench but very likely come on towards the end against West Ham ![:))](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/jitsPgqXBozY69AOPrPg.gif) Why the hell when you need a goal would you bring on someone who can't score a goal to save his life?

He has handled the pressure really well Dave, although I thought he looked pretty drawn post Burnley. Its taking its toil. He has always talked a good game but the stats for the last 35 games dimply don't match it I am afraid, hence why people want him gone!!

For the first two seasons Hughes was all okkerd in his breathing in the conferences. Not worth looking back through but it was very much nervous sharp intakes of breath stuff. Breathe and relax beaut. He's a cock sure Potter nah. Far more assured. Ktf.

Bella Epoque might have been the season before I've slept since then.....

From the interview he mentioned the 'Owners' and it was obvious he isn't in direct contact. He didn't know whether his employers were happy or not saying if the 'owners' saw the effort from Tuesday they would be happy. With the club in real danger of going down I doubt the word 'happy' is a correct one to use. BET365 is heavily involved with the club and doubt that Denise would be happy to see her brand in the Championship. He will go if we don't beat West Ham I'm sure. Did you look at any of the press conference, or just make it up?

I don’t think any of us would bat an eyelid if the teams Xmas do was cancelled - like Big SAM has done at Everton. We would probably say fair play, Hughes is making a point. So IMO, him openly stating that his annual jolley with Coates and Co is still on is a statement to the media and fans that all is good. For someone who is so good at self PR, that just seems a little contrived - similar to his Billboard comment a few days ago. I took it as a deliberate fuck off.
