I think we can limp along until the end of the season and drag out enough results to survive. Looking at the quality of the squad and players that we have at our disposal, it's not like there's some magic formula that our manager is missing - we're suffering because of a poorly constructed squad. I would keep him at the end of the season and then change things around so that we can have a proper overhaul. I'm not really sure what he could do between now and then to save his job.

Horrible game of fear and such, was hoping we'd score another before half time so we could have had the luxury to come out and express ourselves second hafe. Shocking, shapeless dithering bunch interspersed by some beautiful interplay. Shaq a double edged sword, creative wanderings one minute, leaving us awfully exposed th'next. I'm still a Lezzer though, can see he's got winning games by football in his yed. Intention vs execution. Players coming up short so far. Keeping the faith for the bigger vision and the greater good. No change imminent so perpetual moaning is impotent imo. A little bit of crowing may be in order tonight though. Are you missing the back three Cheesy? RIP in peace... That's a bit of a snidey dig Tox especially on such an auspicious occasion A win from behind. Thought we're in this together mate. Thought and hoped with 3-1 he would have gone back to it. Zouma Shawcross Bruno. That can't be now. But it will be back. No use talking about Zouma and Pieters failings at fb for now. 442 if that's what that was is wank.

Never said I'd use the 343 every week. He isn't now. Ok with that if it suits. Perhaps better with players with their tails up rather than short on confidence, riven with mistakes. Though again wouldn't say the system was particularly responsible for that. Terribly narrow and more exposed down the flanks today than in past weeks. Etc. Ktf.

The anaglypta Mr Hughes has put up on the walls is keeping the cracks away. I will check them in a few weeks . Lets hope it last till end of the season, then get it all stripped and start again.👍

And if they cant find a manager better than Mark Hughes, then fuck me what a shower I'm not being an arse mate I can't think of anyone who is realistic and available at the moment. We should have done it in the summer, we didn't, we should wait until next summer unless it gets desperate, which it isn't.

We need to get healthy and develop a real second squad full of capable fit players via the Jan window and next summer, not Ireland, Afellay and pub man Adam especially, if we can be top 10. What’s the rush to get rid of Afellay the guy is one of the classiest and most talented players we’ve got if he can stay fit and find any sort of form. Problem is he can't stay fit and he's almost 33 his legs aren't getting younger. Better to get a profit and get in a player we can rely on.

Completely agree. I think we will survive but barring us going on a mental winning streak and finishing 6th, I reckon he's done. The summer is the right time to do it, having spent the next 5 months or so doing some proper work to find his successor. New guy then gets the whole summer (like Hughes did) to start making the changes needed.

1) 7 wins in 32 is relegation form ( no matter how you dress it up)
2) we just beat bottom of the league and made bloody hard work of it
3) the formation hes stubbornly tried for approaching half a season did not and does not work
4) he happily plays 'fish riding on bicycle's and calls them wing backs
5) The young players are not loaned out to championship clubs toughen them up nor, given any chances in the first team ( Tymon)
5,a) the succession planning is therefore totally and utterly broken
6) Darren Fletcher is not a 3 game per week player - again that much is fucking obvious
7) why the fuck are Adam - Johnson - Ireland and Imbulla still even employed by the football club ?
plus
8) Imbulla = £18m 9) Berahino = £15m 10) Wimmer = £18m all totally crazy, wastes of money
11) Ramadan Sohbi = who the fuck is coaching the talent right out of this poor lad and - right now AND RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR OWN EYES?
sorry boys, hes got to go - and ASAP

Available managers right now who the chairman would appoint, who would take the job: Pulis Pearson O'Neill
It's a shockingly bad time right now to change.
I can't argue that he should be in charge come June though.

Not really. I said before this game, if we lost he could go. I've said before that I'm apathetic - if a suitable replacement can be found then swing the axe. But none has been found. Meanwhile we see what gives over the next few weeks. Hardly "changing my opinion", is it? I'm just not keen on throwing him out the door with no replacement. Maybe you haven't realised it but I've noticed that one week you're in favour of him staying and the next week you'd like to see him replaced and you've changed your opinion several times already this season, pretty much based on the latest result. Not judging you like, just somet that I've noticed. Rename yourself Frank Spencer. The amount of fucks I give about your opinion can be counted on the fingers of no hands.
