Here are my views:
Transport to the ground is awful. Massive queues to get on the trains and 45 minute wait to get to and away from the ground. The stadium is nice, but poor location.
Everyone in the away end thought it was a penalty, and looks like we were fortunate to get away with one?
Ramadan has no end product. Trys to beat his man and then instead of getting a ball in the box, he then trys to beat another 2 men and loses the ball.
Zouma Shawcross Wimmer had decent games.
Shaq did the most rediculous pass to give the ball away from a free kick, which ended with them equalising. Taking him off was the wrong move.
Mark Hughes is a stubborn bastard who is totally inept at making substitutions.
Fletcher can't cross a ball for shit.
Go 442 with Crouch and Saido and give the guy a chance!!!
It's time for a new manager, Hughes makes to many crucial mistakes and can't be trusted with a transfer kitty.
Thanks 442

I took the advice of their fans and stayed in the concourse after the final whistle, had a brew watched the game highlights back and then wandered down to the station at around 22:30. We eventually got on a train at 23:15 which subsequently stopped en route to Brighton train station and arrived at 23:45. I got back to my hotel in Northampton at 02:00, God help the poor bastards driving back to Stoke or beyond. The state of the ground is an absolute irrelevance, they could have diamond encrusted seats and it wouldn't matter, piss poor......

It’s hard to get a red and concede a penalty now. This tackle in last weeks Aussie game didn’t get the Honduran sent off

That's not the rule though. It's denying a goal scoring opportunity. My view is that if it's a penalty it should be a yellow. Unless it's handball on the line like Suarez.

Unless it's handball on the line like Suarez. That's pretty much exactly what the rule now is. If it's an accidental foul, which is translated into making a genuine attempt to win the ball then it's no longer a red.

That's pretty much exactly what the rule now is. If it's an accidental foul, which is translated into making a genuine attempt to win the ball then it's no longer a red. So it is! I must have missed that meeting DENYING A GOAL OR AN OBVIOUS GOAL-SCORING OPPORTUNITY Where a player denies the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity by a deliberate handball offence the player is sent off wherever the offence occurs. Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offending player is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off. A player, sent off player, substitute or substituted player who enters the field of play without the required referee's permission and interferes with play or an opponent and denies the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity is guilty of a sending-off offence The following must be considered: distance between the offence and the goal general direction of the play likelihood of keeping or gaining control of the ball location and number of defenders

The 'Park and ride' was even worse, see my separate thread on the topic. Honestly folks moan their bags off that they need to walk 20 minutes to the Bet365 if access was anything like this then I reckon a lot of people would give up or lose the will to live or both! Oh and the stadium is not as clever as it thinks it is. An enormous 3 tier main stand from the top of which the action may as well be in the next county married to 2 small ends which wouldn't be out of place at Vale Park. All joined together by a daft wavy/curvy fashion statement roof which is more about 'the look' than keeping anyone dry the front 10 rows of seats were swimming in water. Give me the Goldstone any day or even that community stadium they camped in for a few seasons. This hell hole is a non starter.

Agree, looks really smart on the telly and a bit cheap and nasty up close. Fair play to the Brighton fans for pretty much filling the stadium last night, with the access issues wouldn't blame any of them for staying at home and watching it on the box....

And yet they got nearly 30,000 in on a wet Monday night with the game on Sky. Agree very impressive although they're still at novelty status in the Premier League. Ironically when we got a similar crowd for a televised game this season some people bemoaned the few hundred unsold seats. Funny old world. I think when you live in cities like Brighton which are so anti-car (you could easily spend 2 hours getting a non-restricted parking space) you get used to the train, park and ride schemes etc. But there was people on the train back who live in places like East Grinstead/Horsham saying they wouldn't be home until well after midnight, that's fucking ridiculous.....

I have to say the journey from Wokingham to Brighton via a couple of pick up points was dreadful hindered by abnormally heavy traffic initially and then on reaching the M27 a smash cut the traffic to one lane.
We eventually reached the Downs Hotel after the shuttle bus had left. But an Albion supporter knew we were on the way and persuaded the bus driver to come back for four us!!!
Definitely lousy location.

I'm sure this is a daft suggestion but could they not just buy someone's 2000 acre farm and build a big fuck off car park?!
I mean even the park and ride car parks are not carparks rather closed roads with one lane used for parking!
Surely they can't continue like this...
