I got home this afternoon after leaving Lewes at 9.30am
I dont agree about the stadium, I thought it looks great, both inside and out
I got the train in from Lewes, 7 minutes ride, 7.15pm from the station, in the ground at 7.30pm
After the match, queued for 5 minutes, got the first train which was specially put on, 8 carriages, everyone got on OK, back in Lewes at 10.20pm
I do agree however about the trains to Brighton, the queues were horrendous, and the queues to get to the park and ride buses were just as bad
Done it now, wouldn't go back next season, thats if we are both in the same division!

Can I ask a question? What is wrong with the official coaches, as it's a long time since I used one. Why are they joyless as people are saying? I haven't been on them for a while to be fair I'm being facetious. But they used to be run by people who made the Gestapo look laid back. Each to their own but you would have to pay me to go on the official coaches............... They are now run by non Gestapo types.

Must say that despite the travel issues had a great time in Brighton - bursting with good pubs, nice atmosphere and this mornings walk along the front blew away the Monday night hangover a treat.

Should have got stoke buses? I was on coach 1... first there, first back....i was in bed at 2.30 It's the sheer joyless experience of the journey each way that spoils it for me. That and not living in Stoke of course..... A stoke official coach followed by a stoke official performance is just too much action at my age train toi Palace and sutable level of medication much safer
