Apologies for the naughty thread but i'm genuinely intrigued.
Be honest, hands up who wants two defeats and two heavy defeats to see the back of Hughes?
Who wants two resounding victories?

All said and done, we'll probably still only be 5 pts. back from Liverpool in an couple hours. As they say in baseball, it's a long season.

I'd be absolutely ecstatic with four points, however I feel we'll go into the Leicester game on the back of another defeat. The game will be massive. If we lose I can't see Hughes surviving.

I am already worried but anything less than 3 points I’ll be fearing the worst! We need to fuck Hughes off whatever happens anyway

Watford will absolutely murder us, Richarlison especially, we might get a point against Leicester if we’re lucky.

I don't really give a fuck. So you won’t comment on the result and team selection? Thank fuck for that 😊

Hope for two wins, points are going to be hard to come by this season.
However Watford seem to be going in the opposite direction than us and there’s a lot of positivity around the club at the moment, can’t see anything other than a defeat unfortunately.
Leicester have looked almost as poor as us recently so will be our best chance of picking up theee points. In the likely event that they’ll have their new manager in charge though, they’ll be a different proposition.

We'll get beat at Watford, and get a point vs. Leicester.
And Lesley will still be the safest manager in football.

Watford will absolutely murder us, Richarlison especially, we might get a point against Leicester if we’re lucky. That first bit makes me want to cry. This is their 3rd season in the top flight and look where they are. We’ve been in the PL three times longer, under two managers, and spent I don’t know how much more and we are having to endure a possible spanking from them. Where’s it all gone wrong?

I hope we win both but.... heart says 1-1 draw at watford 2-1 win against Leicester Head says 3-1 win to Watford and a 1-1 against Leicester on performances of late 3-1 loss watford and 2-1 loss Leicester I hope I am wrong and we win both....but something still needs to change within the club

If you're a chess player rather than a draughts player you'd want whatever hastened the departure of Hughes. Sometimes you have to sacrifice a few pieces to win the endgame.
But if Coates has some minerals we wouldn't need this discussion.
Hughes Out.

Wouldn't it be typical Stoke to win at Watford then lose to Leicester?
The way Watford played yesterday I'm not very hopeful of a draw. Leicester will be pulling out the stops for their new manager, whoever, to get in his good books.

I always want Stoke to win...and especially against Leicester (wonder why ) Really concerned that both these teams will find it far too easy to get behind our defence...and we don't offer too much going forward

You forgot to switch your ID from Benj to Bayern ....... Christ, is that the best you've got? That was quick for him. Let him carry on happy clapping like a mindless drone. We lost 1-4 to Bristol Rovers once, so by default this is better and shouldn't be questioned.
