I was hoping we'd go for Marco silva in the summer, I thought then he could do a decent job and so far he's doing well at Watford.

If that's your only argument for keeping him then you have no argument. I've never heard anything so ridiculous. It's pretty simple. You need to replace with better. I've told you I'm all ears for a change. So who???

Would he come? 🤔 At least we'd show some fight 😠 Well, the feelers should have already been out, so Coates should already know. As you say, we wouldn’t be such a kind team.

Name your (credible) replacement and I'm all ears..... Whilst I'm not arsed either way currently, it's not our job. It's the job of the club. All people want is for Stoke to play better. It's been a while, we've had different players and formations, so the topic goes on to the manager. Truth be told no one cares who the next manager is if the performances on the pitch improve. But to bite back and any replacement suggestions with "who's your name" and even worse simply ruling the names out due to personal preference is bad.

Honestly, we are so awful that I really don't care who we get any more, it cannot be any worse than we now are.
Hughes should go now with dignity and be remembered for the better times, if he stays we are going down and he shouldn't be remembered for that.

I'm honesty open to any solid credible suggestions. You see how hard this "game" is when you actually play it? Easy to call for his head. But the challenge is the replacement.

Allardyce - his heart or head isn't in it anymore. Failed at Palace. Coleman - different league since he left. Massive risk. Moyes - see Allardyce. Mancini - no chance.
When was the last time a manager left a club to join a team in the same league without being sacked? Because no available managers will help us

I've told you I'm all ears for a change. So who??? I don't know anything about football managers - I'm not in charge of a football club. I'm a supporter of a football club and that club has been going backwards for 2 or 3 years. He's had time. He's had money. He's been allowed to change the system. Clubs sack managers all the time and, remarkably, they get new managers in. Maybe they're all grown in a big greenhouse in Lincolnshire - who knows?

Sean Dyche is available for £2.5 million according to reports. Coates should be slapping that money on their desk tonight.

I honestly don't know pal. Could we attract Rafa? Mancini from the cold dark Russian steppe? I don't have the answer like everyone else. That's pretty much what I'm saying (and agreeing with you, too).

Problem is whoever takes over will want some cash to spend in January and Coates isn’t going to give them any. That’s the problem with stoke at the moment. The chronic levels of underinvestment in the last few seasons are now starting to come to bite us. The transfer team and our CEO need sacking first.

The argument that coats would see is that he'll have to pay Hughes off.
