Right. We weren't that good against Southampton. Let's have it right. I was more than happy with the three points, but we were not very inspiring, were we? Not getting carried away with that performance! I've seen some of the line ups for the team on Saturday, and to me, the midfield is far, far from inspiring. We're having to settle for second best, and I'm not at all happy about it!

From the Sentivale... "He acknowledged the disappointment of fans, but observed: “Manchester City’s was as good an attacking performance as I’ve seen in a long, long time. I was searching to see when I had seen better and couldn’t come up with anything since the great Real Madrid side of di Stefano, Puskas and the like." I agree, but not many will understand his comparison. Regarding Wimmer, I have no idea whether he will come good or not. But I can recall two players who were described as 'utter shit' and proved everybody wrong. Bouldy was one and the other is John Stones at Man City who is becoming a class player IMO. I've read the Sentivale piece and I can't find anything to disagree with. But then again, even though I'm no great Hughes fan, the chairman talks a lot of common sense. OS. You can't come on here and make balanced, sensible, comments like this. What will the knicker wetters think
