Got to be foul player here by Man City. Wankers. I agree it stinks. However, it’s not illegal as far as I can see. The problem lies in the lack of regulation of profession sports in the UK, which means it’s a free market and anything goes. Aren’t we trying to develop a similar relationship with Orlando.

Aren’t we trying to develop a similar relationship with Orlando. a few years ago they brought in ffp. yet clubs like man city & Chelsea just drove a juggernaut straight through it. its ridiculous how many players the big4 have on their books. they need to tighten up the rules on loaning out players.eg a player can only go out on loan if he has been at the club for 2 years.i would also stop players going out on loan [yes I know we have kurt]to a club in the same division.

I fukin hate the January transfer window its all hype and bollox. it needs abolishing. re our transfer team. they get shedloads on here but could you imagine what its like dealing with players and agents? it must be a fukin nightmare and even then when you think you have a deal all done and dusted the agent will still be pimping his player to your rivals.

NYCFC wanted something towards USD$10m which is GBP7m but Stoke wouldn't budge past GBP5m if the reports are to be believed. Man City flex their muscle and the deal is done for peanuts and all it costs them is the cheerio payment to the MLS.

I think technically it's probably 8 million but half of that is non existent so just 4 mil to mls. I think think Stoke were possibly well aware of this which is why they wouldn't budge past 5 mil. I think that was the right decision. He won't ever do anything at Man City. He will suffer as a result. Hell prob go to Norwich in 18 months for 8 million. He however becomes a millionaire so fair play to him

Pep Guardiola sanctioned Manchester City's signing of New York City winger Jack Harrison to scupper plans by Stoke to seal a deal for the England under-21 international, sources have told ESPN FC. linkSo bizarre. They're concerned enough about his development to not want us signing him, but not enough to avoid sending him to a bloke who treats young creative players like bubonic plague victims.

Pep Guardiola sanctioned Manchester City's signing of New York City winger Jack Harrison to scupper plans by Stoke to seal a deal for the England under-21 international, sources have told ESPN FC. linkHe'll never play a game for them, that's for sure. Shame how these big clubs can mess around with careers. He's only got Sane, Sterling, possibly Mahrez, Silva, Foden, Diaz, Roberts and Moreno to contend with...most of which are his age or close to it - with the prospect of them adding to it at the drop of a hat. Senior figures at City have made it clear that Harrison, who spent time at neighbours Manchester United as a schoolboy, is not yet ready for the first-team squad. But Guardiola and Vieira believe he can develop into a player capable of competing for a first-team place and the risk of allowing him to leave the City Football Group to sign for Stoke was not worth taking.
City arranged Harrison's loan to Middlesbrough in order to expose him to a more competitive and demanding environment in the hope he will develop further.
