That was weird on so many levels. It really reminded me of the 3-0 home defeat to Watford in the Boskamp season. Lots of desire to attack with no obvious plan and so disorganised at the back that Chelsea/Watford could seemingly open us up at will.
Come back soon Shawcross, Zouma, Wimmer (and BMI - I presume he picked up an injury).

Several times he got into attacking positions and did not make anything of it. He didnt make mistakes like Johnson or Fletcher He wasnt a transparent striker like Jese I see Ramadan skills have decreased in comparison to his level 2 years ago, he was supposed to improve in premier league but he didnt On the other hand I feel sorry for him to play as LB , he is not fast and he is not a defender , just Hughes sees something different I dont think ramadan's skills actually decreased; did it cross your mind that perhaps he is facing stronger oppodition then in the egyptian league ?

We are desperately short in front of goal still and it's is going to cost us. Jese's early promise seems to be fast but given his personal circumstances what can you expect.
If there's no win and goals against Southampton it's time to say goodbye to Hughes and that woeful transfer team

I go on from my previous post. Why are we not challenging MH coaching staff, clearly not able to get fitness levels up to the required standards. This is having a direct impact on our injuries. I take you all back to last year and we problems keeping the squad fit. To me, the responsibility sits with this group of management. We are never on the pace at ANY game, always a yard short. Our midfield is pedestrian compared to our nearest rivals. Our players are not being coached to develop at higher levels. This goes for Berhino, good player, diabolical coaching. But, we are in danger of hounding out of the first team.
Frustrated is an understatement. Hughes needs to be replaced and quickly. We need a manager who motivates and can get the best of of our quality players.

A strange one alright.
2 goals can be directly attributed to the hapless Johnson , 1 a gift from Fletcher.
Tried to make a go of it..standard spineless big club dick sucking from Dean when he needed to apply the laws of the game fairly.
Ending the game without any of our 4 main centre backs ...you can't legislate for shit like that..
Still some of the lads on here will be over the moon with a good drubbing.Fill your boots !

What a shitty week
We now have Southampton then man city.
That Newcastle performance is the one that grates with me, with the games afterwards that was the one we had to take a result from.

I go on. Ignore the reality all you want. Short of defenders, injuries, referee, not interested. When decisions go for us in games we all turn a blind eye. A manager should have contingencies for injuries, yes not good today but he should have been organised. Glen Johnson has had little game time this season and to me not good enough for the the team, but what do WE expect??

Sinking slowly to our natural level . Jesse certainly now clearly a duffer , banished to the outcasts if there is any meritocracy berahino is at least our player .
Overall though we are paying the price for not investing at the top end of the pitch or in midfield we are slowly getting what we deserve so no surprises
Good to see No Hughes abuse but it will surely come if he saves this loot he is manager of the season by miles ,saw scholes shaking his head on the way out his and well he might £12m in the Bank was totally useless again. Today

Idiotic sub yields terrible result. The sub was responsible for the goal was it? indi gives us a much better chance of stopping morata 1v1 than fletcher.

With the defenders we have out today it was always going to be an uphill battle, honestly think we have played pretty well though & if it were not for a piece of completely inept reffing we would have been right in this. TBH i am sick to death of the rules of the game being applied differently to other teams, it was like a Sunday morning " sub him off or i will send him off " pathetic. So why the hell are those defenders at our club? We play in the best league in the world, not a place for sub standard defenders is it? Quite right! We should have 8 world class CBs in the squad like every other PL side outside the top 6 does. Hughes out! FFS

I think we are absolutely fucked. No Shawcross, Zouma or Wimmer. This could be a 5-0. When it's this predictable.... Please just go Hughes.

I go on a little more. What other manager would be given this amount of grace? Coates is hanging on the fact Hughes managed at a higher level. Utter rubbish, his record stinks and reflected in our results. Good to see Hughes was NOT booed, why not?? This is not good enough and we simply sit back and wait until we drop in that bottom tier and we are fighting for our future in the league. Why are we not being honest. Nothing personal against Hughes, but he must be replaced.

When you look on BBC Sport Match report possession wasn't far of 50/50 and we had more shots than them feckers. They had four shots on target and it's 0-4. Defensive mistakes by Johnson and Fletch cost us big time. 15th in league and maybe lower tomorrow. Gonna be a long season.

A reasonable start to the season then we revert to type ie rubbish at scoring and rubbish at defending
Not an inspiring combination

Today Out of interest, do you think the manager should be cut a bit of slack given he was missing 4 CBs today? I actually thought we played ok going forwards (though I agree Jese needs to take time off - calling him a duffer is a bit strong) against a very well organised defence, especially as Chelsea never needed to try and take the game to us. Starting the game a goal down meant it was always going to be a struggle going forwards, but in many ways I thought we played better than (for instance) the Arsenal game. (I mean going forwards - not defensively)

So why the hell are those defenders at our club? We play in the best league in the world, not a place for sub standard defenders is it? We have 3 centrebacks out injured today, just what do you expect, lets have 6 top drawer centrebacks at the club, i am sure 3 wont mind sitting out every week, get real! I expect EVERY defender at the club to be too good for the championship, that's what we pay for. So get real yourself. We don't pay premiership wages for Championship players....oh hang on .

No I do not think he should be cut some slack......why????? This are abject performances. Why do we have to settle for second best all of the time. Sit back and wait until we are in a dire situation before we do anything. Let me remind everyone again. This is not something that has just happened this is 2 years of consistently poor results. So no, he gets no sympathy from me.
