I'm honestly struggling to connect this LMH side with last season's LMH side in any way right now. It's not just about our excellent new signings but the whole approach, tactics, defensive routines, players knowing what's expected - and today really does prove there's no flash in the pan, that was one of the best sides in Europe we lived with out there.
Just outstanding leadership, take a bow Sparky.
10* from me

Pyramids are built on a solid base and that in my opinion is the difference this season so far.
What a game from Zouma, aided by good performances from Cameron, Indi and a great start from Wimmer. They allowed us to attack today and more important for me retained the belief in the side that we could get back level when we were behind.
9/10 for Sparky failed to tackle Jose when he entered his zonal area^

9* Superb performance from the team and great stuff from Hughes. I would have taken Shaq off for Ramadan however, Shaq was extremely unaffective and Sohbi would have provided extra defensive work. However, what a day!

Man utd arrived having not let in a goal all season.
We put two past them and but for two world class saves from de gea, it would have been four.
That's the best we have played for a long time

We have a truly abrasive manager leading our team. I like this guy.

However, what a day! Shaq was good but I would subbed Ramadan for Jese and let Choupo play up front. Berahino as usual offered nothing.

Mourinho seemed pissed off so brilliant performance Sparky.
Seriously, though, this Stoke City side isn't the same Stoke City side as last season. Brilliant once again.

9* We look much more solid at the back, still need a little more up front but looked good again, shaq is looking much better but still passed up the chance second half to have a few runs at them, we will get stronger. Very pleased

10* Brilliant. Got it right. Starting Cameron against Lukaku was a total head scratcher, but it worked. 🎩 off!

Can't really argue with the team selection or the subs. I was slightly concerned that he hardly warmed up any subs in the second half. Berahino maybe warmed up for 3 minutes before he came on but no one else seemed to. Had we suffered an injury late in the game the sub would have been on with no warm up which worries me a bit. But that is a small point so I have to give him a 10*

9 - got the boys up for today - playing Choupo through the middle looks like a masterstroke - he offered the physical presence of Crouchy without getting isolated from the players behind him. It was heartening to see us actually take the game to Manure instead of sitting in our own half and hoping for a lucky break. 1 point deducted for not wearing the club tie

It's called rate Hughes vs Man Utd. This game, not this season or his Stoke career! Just yanking your chain!

What a great match, 9 from me. we have new players who can run with the ball, that's made the difference for me. we are not so predictable anymore. Defense and GK looked solid today, and I think they will all season. As a supporter of LMH I am pleased the Hughes out brigade have finally disappeared. I had been saying all preseason we would be good, but when everyone was being sold I did worry.....rather a lot ! He has pulled the rabbit out of the bag and we are looking good. 20 million for Arnie was to good to miss out on, how are West ham doing ? .....anyway I have to end with HUGHES OUT ! because no post is complete without it ;-)

9 With hindsight, which Sparky obviously doesn't get, I would have liked to see Ramadan on for Jese and EMCM in the middle late on but apart from that it was mustard. Jack bailed us out a couple of times but De Gea denied Jese. EDIT: Great thread by the way

That would be the Pieters who made our second goal with his cross to Jese?
