I would be happy to try Allen or Sobhi in at RWB, probably Allen initialy despite his lack of height. Diouf for me could be our 15 goal man languishing away at RB. Conner fault the man for trying and agaist teams that wont push us as hard as Arsenal then he could be an option to get more forward movement on that side of the pitch. But just not a defensive tackler... And yes, arsenal exploited that side to the point they were even stretching Zouma. Cameron is better in the middle and gets a run at CM for my money. After yesteday I am leaning towards something like; --------------Diouf--------- ------Moting---------Jese---- Pieters--Cameron--Fletcher--Allen -----Bruno--Shawcross--Zouma--- -------------Butland---------- 1.Grant 2.Johnson 3.Tymon 4.Adam 5.Ramadan 6.Shaq/Bojan 7.Berahino/Crouch --- Need a RB and another CM option in, also a new backup CB or start to try and foster a bit of faith in Wollscheid That's a good idea, let's make four changes to a side that's just kept a clean sheet and beaten one of the favourites to win the league. I am one of the people who think that as much as I like Diouf he was defensively a liability yesterday who could and would have lost us the game most other days. So yes.... Because we dont currently have a true RWB to swap in for him. We should buy one and then we wouldnt need as many changes. 1: I chose Allen for RB due to his work rate, closing down, forward movement and passing/crossing. 2: Diouf as a Striker is screaming out to me for his breaks and physicality. I think he will link well with Jese 3: So you are going to leave Bruno on the bench all season? 4:Cameron has been too good to drop, but isnt going to keep Bruno out for too long. He is a genuine option next to Fletcher especially with the hole I would be leaving by moving Allen. I wouldn't play him as RWB personally as I haven't been to impressed with him out wide in the past. So other than testing allen at RWB whats so bad?... If it goes to shit, it isnt like we couldnt just bring Berahino on for BMI and go back to last weeks team in literally 5 seconds. Or we could just revel in a win and not address any points for possible improvement? Would that make you happy? I think that come Man Utd we need something else going on at RWB, Martial, Rashford, Mkhitaryan will have a good idea that Diouf at RWB is the key to our defence.... Im absolutely convinced. Do we have the answer in our team currently... Probably not. Time to spend I think.

some of you must have been watching a different game to me. Diouf was awful! He's a liability defensively & a risk we can seldom afford to take. His tackle on Bellarin was a stonewall penalty, he's rash in the tackle in general, no understanding of defensive positioning & could well have cost us on a different day. He runs around a lot but so would a Labrador if you put it in a stoke shirt. I get it; it's not his fault he's being played there but it is definitely an experiment that needs to stop. We are two decent wing backs (if that's the system he's intending on playing) away from having a good side! If you're playing this 3/5 at the back then the wing backs need to be 2 of the best, and fittest, players in the side. Diouf does offer a lot going forward from that position & he's as fit and fast as they come but we can't afford to play him there all season when he's so poor defensively.

Diouf slipped for their penalty appeal but where he is endless enthusiasm more use to us?
At the end of the pitch where it could win us a penalty?
Or at the end where it could concede us a penalty?

Can't wait for those crosses with the outside of his foot ... You laugh but he's one of the better crossers we've had.... Which says a lot really.
