There's not a fucking chance I'll be calling him "hess-hay" or "heth-hay" or any other pretentious bollocks like that.
I'm from Stoke. I'll refer to him as "Jessy" or "that bloke who used to play for Real Madrid".

How many mercenaries do we have now? I have lost track. Every single member of our squad. Don't be naive, with the possible exception of Edwards every single player in a stoke top this season would gladly leave for a bit more money. It's a job for these people, it's the real world now mate.

It is a balance - clubs below the top 6/7 now exist season to season, ensuring that every year they stay up and keep their snouts in the Premier League trough for the next one. You cannot throw Ngoy, Verlinden and Edwards in and hope they work out, then find out they didn't at Christmas when we are bottom and Hughes has lost his job. You can sometimes get players on loan at our level that you would never be able to sign permanently - which seems to be the case with Kurt and Jese. If they heighten our profile, improve our league position and make us an attractive proposition for future signings, whilst putting themselves in the shop window, then I can see the logic. Sometimes we will be able to pull off a Bruno or Shaqiri signing, but you can even see with an average player like Delph a reluctance to leave a bigger club - the money and prestige turns heads and makes it even more difficult for those a tier below like ourselves to do business. Then you get thrown a curve ball by one of your stars, who is tied down on a long term deal, that he wants to chase the money "darn sarf" and you have to revise your recruitment strategy once again. When the dust has settled on this summer's transfer dealings, I think we will end up coming out of it rather well. NO you can't and I wasn't really referring to them. It was mainly Ramadan and partially Bojan. I will never agree with the Zouma and Jese loans though. We're paying to get a player fit and to help to sell one. Shouldn't we be the ones getting paid? I hope so Jezza because so far the picture being pained is a pretty poor one. We still need 4 signings. We will be the ones "getting paid" if these players help us finish higher on the league. A knock on effect is the morale of those players who maybe moved to a place on the bench. It's a squad game yet we need some consistency with our starting 11 ? All need careful management and that's for MH to achieve

Las Palmas wanted him to stay and extend his loan so you got that bit wrong already. He's a winger..they aren't really meant to score regularly. have some positivity. the negative crap on this board got boring months ago Las Palmas did not want him to stay. Hopefully he will prove me wrong. He did not play bad in Las Palmas, MotM 2 times. 3 goals and 1 assisit in 1163 min. Not much different from Arnie effectiveness. You have to remember it`s a matter of price of the player and the player wanting to stay also.

I'm genuinely shocked that people are moaning about us signing jese on a season loan. Some of the miserable fucks on here would moan about becoming a billionaire. I don't think they realise how pathetic it makes them look Talking of pathetic you ought to try reading your own posts. You've blocked somebody but you're still obsessed with them.

Not going to read through all 63 pages on this thread, so this may have already been posted. It is pronounced "Hay Say" Not Heth-thay? Actually I just got a second opinion from a Catalan native and am told that Rodders is from the Canaries and therefore would pronounce it "Jay Say." In his opinion we've got a player who has potential to be better than Bojan. Without intending to offend he couldn't understand why he would sign for a mid-table club. He said that it almost felt like a punishment

Look lets be honest and it hurts but...he signed for us because no one else wanted him,the money's great and for someone with a cruciate injury its a chance if he does well to move to a club for even more money. I guarantee Shaq will do an Arnie next year. They're all mercenaries and we're losing our culture. True we're not alone in that but our culture is what has helped us survive.

It doesn't matter what we oput on here, everyone on P&G will refer to Jese as Jess ee, much as they did when asked about Bojan (Bowjan), Pulis (Pull is) or Berahino (Berahinieo)
