Can anyone tell me why he didn't play? They looked iffy down their right side and I think Ramadan could have exploited this.

Because Hughes obviously really rates him.
Why didn't we make a third sub in general though?
Other than he never sodding does?

I'd personally try Ramadan at LWB He's got the engine for it, he's a feisty little bastard when he wants to be and carries an attacking threat

You're chasing the game and have two attacking players on the bench who could change the game and change the drudgery. And you don't use one. It's daft.

Perhaps because he is fairly quick, has a bit of muscle And can go past his man
Hughes values one paced strikers who like to keep themselves marked. Thus ensuring nobody passes to them.

Ramadan on the right in-front of diouf could work really well pushing shaq or bojan central, but doubt we will see it. Our manager and setup seems to be far to consistent and stubborn until its daggers out.

Whereas Berahino has been tearing it up. I didn't pick berahino or leave ramadan on bench. But I do think this is why he didn't play I don't. I think Hughes is managing this squad in a shocking way at the moment. He is ruining players with baffling formations. Ramadan could have had a field day today. Everton were nowt special.

Because Hughes obviously really rates him. Why didn't we make a third sub in general though? Other than he never sodding does? There really is no excuse for this when you're losing and chasing a game. The minimum we need to see from Hughes this year is at least, being seen to be doing the right things. Persisting with a struggling striker, who doesn't suit your system, and not using all subs, are not the right things. There were some positives from today, I suppose most disappointingly we've lost a chance to gain something, from a below-par Everton team, given the start to the season we've got.

It was perplexing why Hughes didn't make the 3rd change.
Seemed like it was crying out for Ramadan to come on for Pieters.

I think playing Choupo today instead of him was with all due respect to Choupo -he is a fascinating player no doubt- a big hit to his confidence. IMHO, if last season treatment extended to this season he'll ask for either a loan or a transfer by the end of the season if not in January.

When he played last season he was the best player for Stoke for 4-5 matches then he was dropped for no reason even before shaqiris return from the injury
He didnt play today cause he was not good in the pre-season so Bojan was good there , absolutely no is Bojan a left wing, no did most of ppl watch the preseason games , no but we heard it on the radio
Premier league is not that hard competition for a player with skills and strength of Ramadan, today Salah was MOTM for liverpool, Hegazi was MOTM for West Brom and both of them came from the Egyptian League and people are always predicting succes for Ramadan before both of them
