Parish, what a twat !.....To give him just 4 games is ridiculous. And to make matters worse it looks like that fookin Owl is going to be back in the Prem.....😦
I'd love to see them go down now....

He had to go, seems harsh after only 5 games but he was taking them down without a doubt. Shame, I wish they had kept him until Christmas to make sure they were going down.

Hodgson is an uninspiring but steady manager who has proven he can lead teams to 16-10 place in the league
I don’t think I would want him for a relegation dogfight

Odd decision. It appears they played OK against Burnley and were unlucky to lose.
Now Hodgson starts again with a new system presumably. Next fixtures are Saints at home, both Manchester clubs away then Chelsea at home.
Hodgson might have Newcastle away to save his job 5 games into his reign. Be an interesting decision for Parrish if they lose another 5...

The OP finally lands one of his wildly premature pronouncements... he's struggling with his comparison of Ramadan to Ronaldo at the moment, but maybe this is the start of something....

Given up on him too soon IMHO. Deserved to beat Burnley, only for shocking finishing.

Surely they knew what they were getting with de Boer and how he might want to play. Even Dyche admitted they were the better side. It's not as if there's a month of the season left or even the beginning of the January window. Madness to give any manager so little time and even more insane to (possibly) give the job to that senile old bugger Hodgson.

Crazy decision all around. What's the point of trying a manager if it's four games and out. In effect de Boer has been in charge just over a month. Friendlies and all of that don't really count in my mind as personnel are sifted through. And then even crazier, employ old owl face, who is - let's face it - past it. The poor old chap couldn't even organise a team to beat Iceland. Nothing really should surprise us anymore in football, however this is close. Relegation really is too good for Palace.

I reckon the chairman should leave the club as well, clearly hasn't got a clue.

They played well enough to beat Burnley yesterday. They were comfortably the best team and even Dyche admitted that Palace deserved to win. It seems Parish based his decision on the outcome of a suicidal back pass and a few instances of unbelievably poor finishing.
Ridiculous.
With luck, the senile old owl will lead them to relegation.

Well I hope it's a big squad and that they are all used to playing a variety of systems, because if the owl faced fucktard was tinkering with his system every game against the mighty powers that were Russia, Wales, Slovakia & Iceland, god knows what he will do when faced with Man City, Chelsea, Spurs, Man Utd, Arsenal and Stoke...

Given up on him too soon IMHO. Deserved to beat Burnley, only for shocking finishing. I agree. I think frank de boer has more knowledge of top fight football than steve parish. Maybe it was a Leeds/ clough thing, with senior players whinging to the board behind the managers back??? That caused parish to think he knows what he's doing??? Arguably Leeds directors called it wrong sacking Cloughie, after a handfull of games and just before he went on to win pretty much everything with forest.
