In place of Bojan presumably. Or cover, or strengthening the squad in general?

In place of Bojan presumably. Or cover, or strengthening the squad in general? I think he'll start. Hughes won't be shy dropping Bojan, similar to the way he's dropped Sobhi.

It's an experimental line up and formation.
90 minutes under the belt and all that.
In Hughes we trust.

Don't forget Hughes said he was splitting the squad in 2 this week so all players could get 90 minutes so Joselu was never going to start today as he played the full game against St Pauli.

IF, which is a big if, we can come through today looking good then it'll lead us into the Everton game very well as RBL are a very good team. Alternatively, take a hammering again then I'm not really sure what Hughes will do for the Everton game and I don't think he would know either.

So we are lining up with wing backs at Everton then, unless the manager is switching system between now and next week?
Can't help thinking that despite the results we might get, we are making life hard for ourselves by using a system that we don't have the right players in the key areas.

I was just about to reply to Sorensen above ... "unless we get hammered."

I'm still kind of hoping we'll change it for the second half, but that raises more questions when it's your final friendly,

Hughes never learns, every year he fucks about with the formation and can't pick a starting 11 and then carries it on in to the season. If only he was fucked off in May when he should of been
