If you watch the full Sky highlights, at the end of the first half Pieters was given offside when miles onside. The ball came to Bojan on the penalty spot with the ball at his feet and an open goal just as the whistle went, so he just flicked at it.
I'm pretty sure that if the whistle hadn't gone, it would have been 1 - 1, and Pieters and Bojan would have been heroes.
Fate is cruel.

There were a few offsides that from the 'garbage goodison' position (how do they even get a safety certificate on a wooden stand ?) i was in that seemed 'debatable'

Nice bloke. Obviously talented. I'd get rid though and now.
He's a weak link and I'd have put my house on the first 2 players being subbed off yesterday being Bojan and Berahino.

As much as we'd all love to see the Bojan of old, I don't think that player exists anymore.

He was alright today without suggesting anything special was about to happen at any point.
I think his time here is up, sadly.

He was great today. Do people watch the matches with their eyes closed? Do they just make up stuff for shits and giggles? Man alive Did he have a shot on target? Did he set up a chance for a teammate? some people see what they want to see i saw him run down the left and had a nice chip just go over the bar in the first half. a great effort considering he was surrounded by 3 everton players. And this is the thing, other teams are still worried by him, so they use more players to mark him out of the game. In theory that should open up space, but we lack the midfield to utilise it he also continually played through balls to people either down the wing, or tried to thread it to saido play him with a decent forward (joselu, diouf, ngoy or even campbell) and you'll see the benefits

If we could get good money then I would be tempted to cash in on him and Joselu and replace them both with one versatile fast forward/wide player.

Took the easy way out again with an early nothing effort. He is so crushingly disappointing every time he plays. I don't think it is the injury. I think he lost his appetite when he wasn't playing. There is no hunger or desire in him

Some won't be happy until all of our creativity is replaced by neanderthals which are strong. He needs to play he's dangerous and creative.

I think he did fine yesterday. He wanted to get involved and didnt look scared of the tackle.
Promising without anything outstanding. If he continues in the team he will only improve this season

It was with Berahino, and our insistence on bypassing our creativity by punting it up to him in the air again and again. Boj was a different player yday compared to the shadow of what he was last season.

He's now had one game after being away on loan last season. We at least owe him the chance to prove if he can still do the business with a five game run or more. He might just surprise the lot of his critics.

Just rewatching the game. Bojan did well most of the first half. No more no less than any others. Made some smart passes to add to some build ups but sadly there is almost zero creativity in the side beyone Shaquiri and him. Also made several good runs that were not rewarded with a pass. He is certainly not a luxury we cannot afford, but as with any player needs those around (mostly those behind him) to be able to move and create. Fletcher is solid but unspectacular and Allen is generally useless.

He ran himself into the ground yesterday

Even the commentators (who are not always the best) on the US broadcast noted he had not done much. Second half he got a bit more involved and made a few solid tackles as you note, but if we want to really play better, Allen needs to be much better. I'll be honest I like Allen but just do not rate him. Opinions eh?

Thought he gave us the energy in the middle which we needed and that gave us something to build on and he looked after Fletchers legs as Well. But yes of course you can play for stoke... can you play the lone striker role
