Bojan signed a new contract with Stoke in February committing him to the club until the summer of 2020. If his form improves then he could still be in Sparky's plans.

It's pretty safe to say he's done, isn't it? Loans to the might Mainz and Alaves? Telling that no clubs of worth were in for him for loans or otherwise.

Posted yesterday that I think he could probably get a few more of these loans based on reputation alone. He's on whatever we're paying him for another 3 years and by then he'll be 30. It makes a mockery of that contract in all honesty. Did we offer it to him in haste? Was there genuine interest from Liverpool? All seems strange.

Any new manager next season might bring him back into the fold.

A shame but hasn't been able to show decent form since his injury. Do you call one game a decent chance? I thought he looked decent enough in pre season. It isn't just one game though is it ? He showed little form last term hence the loan where he didnt feature too much either.

Interesting from Hughes' press conference today
"Bojan Krkic was a difficult one to let go (he has gone out on loan to Deportivo Alaves) because I would have preferred he saw his future here but he felt it lay elsewhere. I hope he returns to the Club. He's had his most successful spell since leaving Barcelona here."
If that's the case then why not just make him stay, at least give it until January. I still think it's a big loss to us, should've kept him, one of the few players who always brings goals. If he really wanted to leave then it should have been a permanent deal or no deal.

He could get his self confidence and sharpness back in Spain so a loan could work out for us!

He could get his self confidence and sharpness back in Spain so a loan could work out for us! I hope so, but from what Hughes said you'd think he was willing to give him a proper chance to get his sharpness back here. Our best hope now is he has a really good season in Spain and we sell him for a decent fee next summer, I think we have seen the last of him in a Stoke shirt.

For whatever reason he seemingly does not want to stay at Stoke and fight for his place. Hughes could not guarantee him a start, which it seems he wanted.

I agree with this interpretation and if this is true Hughes was right to let him go on loan. No-one has a right to a place in the starting 11 and everyone should be fighting to get there and stay there.
