The season that I think would unfold, if we knew now that we'd finish 15th, would be another shite-fest like last season. The one that culminated in the fans having had enough by the end, and making the end of season 'honours' a total embarrassment in front of the TV cameras.
So, no, and I'd hope that the hierarchy have tasked Hughes with a Top 10 finish.

With the business done so far, yes. But I also think we are long way from being done this transfer window so expect better. I really hope so. If we dont sign some players we will be in a relegation fight 100%. An Im normally positive, the lack of signings is worrying me. Im checking everyday and nothing. I think it will be a wake up call after todays result.

I certainly would settle for 15th.

At the moment that's where we are until the other catch up games are played. Given the tough start we had, getting more points than expected(?), would you take 15th? Preseason this straw poll favoured yes. What now?

I would take 15th.
A cup run and a few more decent results against the big boys would be nice too.

If that's all we're aspiring to, I'd suggest a re-think of strategy is required.
If we came 15th, I'd look at a number of teams above us, and think that finishing below them, would/should be considered failure (let's say, Watford, Bournemouth, WBA, and one of the promoted teams, as examples).
If all we're really bothered about these days is staying in the division, it's time for me personally to find something more appealing.
I appreciate that not everyone will feel the same.

Bournemouth and Watford are now our "peer teams"! When did this happen, did I miss the meeting? We are becoming incredibly easily pleased lately.

Finishing above Southampton, West Brom, or West Ham, is beyond us, it would seem. If you listen to the apologists that is. Those that are just glad we're still in the fucking 'Premier League', whatever that means. I'm fully aware of where the 'glass ceiling' was, I didn't realise it had dropped a few floors.

Absolutely not. The day that I skip the drama, joy, frustration and everything else that comes with a typical Stoke season just to be sure we are not relegated, has not, and will not, dawn(ed).

Hate to admit it but yes. Imagine the likes of Wimmer, Berahino, Jese and Johnson in a relegation dog fight? Only Swansea look as poor as we do at the moment.
