Why not? You'd just need the JSU/JSL open surely like they do for friendlies anyway? But that's not taking into account the relaying of the pitch....... You really do have to have an answer for everything don't you? Well when it's the correct one.....yes!

Why haven't we played any pre season matches at home? Given that the stadium upgrades over the summer are still not quite completed, I think we'd have been pushing it to play any games there, don't you? If you remember we even asked the Prem to ensure that our first league game was away from home.

But when people are talking condescending bollocks it needs correcting and that was condescending bollocks. And he knew, hence his reply.

The Boothen End has always been open. Anyway, as Lakeland has pointed out, a home pre-season friendly this summer was never an option and anyone with even the smallest interest in Stoke City should know that was the case.

www.bild.de/sport/fussball/st-pauli/der-trainer-sahins-turbo-nicht-verbiegen-52758604.bild.htmlInteresting on the impressive Turk that ran the show against us.. Cenk Sahin (22), with about 1.3 million euros is Pauli's most expensive purchase since 1910, is the player who can make the difference. Coach Olaf Janßen: "He is still a blessing - but also curse. I encourage him in his game. When he comes running, he cannot be held. " In the test against Stoke City, he made high-paid England pros like Slalomstangen look old. Potters CEO Tony Scholes was not badly surprised. Asked if a Pauli professional would have liked him particularly, he rolled his eyes and looked at Cenk Sahin, who trotted at a leisurely pace into the dressing room ...

Didn't we do it for the Genoa game? Hence the complete fuck up with the queues? Oh and it wasn't. But not for safety regs purposes. Although that would be stupid and pointless. It'd be nice to have one next year though.

Did anyone who was there manage to get any info out of Coates and Scholes about potential signings? I asked coatesy if konoplyanka was happening and he replied "yes" although I'm not entirely sure he a) heard me properly b)understood the question or c) actually knew where he was. Probably all three I asked scholes and he said "I'll give you the stock answer, there's things happening and we'll be fine". Said things take time to get finished but gave nothing at all away. I asked re konoplyanka and he looked blankly back at me

Who did they splash out on in 1910?

The commentator on the game tonight made an interesting point about how vast St Pauli's merchandising operation is.
It's one area we've always been pretty weak in, so it'd be good to try and learn from them.
They've looked poor so far against Dresden but it's 1-1.

At least for Dresden's equaliser he smashed it. Still bad hands.

So if we just stick a skull and crossbones on the crest it's sorted, we will will bring in a hefty wedge ...

Just watching them live on BT sport away at Nurenburg, St Pauli just gone 1 up, they like to play it out of the back a lot but dont seem to have a decent forward on for it, they scored from a long punt off the goalkeeper, chase on and the wide player got there first and scored with 1 touch, Berahino may suit them for a bit, or maybe ngoy

They have a couple of good defensive midfielders don't they? And we are desperate for a couple. Although I think they are both getting on a bit
