That's Chadli finished there now The politics will begin as to the reasons he's being left out ...I hope the WBA fans are ready for it Add to..... - Pulis won't manage in the Premier League again. - Pulis will get Palace/WBA relegated. - Pulis won't manage a very ordinary WBA side to a higher finishing position than Stoke. ....aren't fall outs between manager and player part of the territory? We certainly seem to have a few issues in our own squad. Nobody said the 2nd one, and the first was never ever mentioned (ahem)

i cannot see why some posters are having a go at tp over this. tp is the manager and his methods include having a tough fitness regime pre season.if a player refuses to do this then he should have his pay stopped immediately. being fit is part of their job. footballers have far too much influence these days. Don't worry mate he runs Hughes down as well, he is one of those that runs every Stoke issue down so he can brag I told you so,it will happen for him one day only because of law of averages. i know theres loads on here, still when we win a game i can walk away from the stadium with a smug smile on my face while they close their laptop and drink their horlicks.

Well Stoke were definitely fitter under TP than they are now. Todays players are pussies. As much as I couldn't stand Pulis there is no debating this statement at all.

You have obviosley never played sport at a good level. Well no I haven't but clearly neither have you. And it has fuck all to do with this. Premier League footballers on the whole will be as fit now as when they finished the season. Their match sharpness will be decreased but it shouldn't take much to get them to where they need to be. They're checked throughout the summer, given regimes to follow etc. It's not the 70s anymore. It takes 3 weeks of hard training to regain natural fitness, it only takes a week of doing nothing to lose your fitness there for needed 3 weeks of hard training to get back to the level you were. I have done sports at a high level and i did 10 years in the forces so i know alot about fitness, PTI's drilled it in to us ;-)

VT not a fan of Raymond Verheijen's periodisation training methods, more a drill sargeant on a mission to make all his charges throw up in the first few days! Times have changed, although I am not saying I condone a millionaire footballer refusing to attend pre-season training - it is his own fault signing for the dinosaur in the first place.

Id like us to do abit more fitness work than we usually do before the start of the season, we start too slow and are playing catch up

The most retarded thing I've ever heard. And then you think it takes THREE weeks of hard training to get it back. Good one mate!

Anyway it didn't take long for Pulis to find someone to fall out with did it, less than a week into pre-season 😂😂😂 As a manager he has a right to dictate the levels of fitness required to play in his team. How he reaches those levels of fitness is up to him and his management team. Another example of a pampered overpaid footballer thinking he's above it all. Not Tones fault on this one.

Want to hear retarded stand in front of a mirror and listen to yourself. I know what im talking about in this subject so i know that this is correct. After reading this I now realize you didn't go to school. I've had a week off before from cardio work and didn't lose fitness at all. You can easily get back to where you left off within a couple of days. It's like when you first start going to the gym. One week won't make you fit, just like missing one week won't make you unfit.

Berahino joined us at the beginning of Feb only half fit and he still wasnt fully fit by the end of the season, three months later 😉

I go back to the point I just made. When you're unfit it will take time to become fit, just like when you're fit it takes time to become unfit. Not a fucking week.

What do you prefer, fitter players or better results & higher league finishes? Well they're fitter and finished higher... Yeah, in their best Premier League season they finished a whopping one point better than us and died on their sorry arses for pretty much all of the last third of the season. You're almost as tedious as Pulis.

I hope Hughes addresses our issues early and we get a good pre-season.
