"It is alleged that Chadli was reluctant to take part in Pulis' gruelling fitness routine, which includes 5am starts and back-to-back jogs up Austrian hills, and is doing his own strength and conditioning in England."
Tone certainly likes to run and 'old-skool' pre-season doesn't he?!

...isn't lack of fitness generally what pre-season is for?

RIP Chadli's West Brom career. 2016-2017.

Who is the moron here, TP or Chadli? To me it's crystal clear!

Not like Pulis to fall out with a flair player.

Well Stoke were definitely fitter under TP than they are now. Todays players are pussies.

No, I don't want him back! This is just a comment about pre-season fitness

There's definitely lessons to be learned from Pulis' fitness regime but you can also point to West Brom's capitulation last season and ask whether they burned out or just put down tools

I can see the acid dripping from here. Don't forget your nipple pads Tone, especially with all that altitude. Is this another player that has passed and then subsequently failed the much fabled DNA test?

Pre-season should be tough, I don't buy into burning out either.

I don't think our fitness is anything to write home about. The myth about us being stronger in the second half of the season has now been exposed and its painfully obvious when we turn up for our twice annual dry bumming by Spurs that not only are they far superior technically they are vastly fitter than us as well.

Just think of all that lovely clean air up the mountains of Austria to off set the carbon spumes that fill the Smethwick clouds...

All managers fall out with players Hughes has also . My point is that for what they are paid they should be fit . The lad must have known about TP and what to expect when he signed so he should get on with it .
He came from Spurs and a manager who works his players even harder in terms of fitness .

What a mardarse, I'd love to wake up at 5 in the morning to run up some hills in scenic Austria, never mind getting paid thousands in the process.
