Yeah the new fuhrer democraticlly voted in. One issue she does not take over until November lol She scraped in by 9 votes. Forage has already criticised the narrow margin without a hint of irony. She was the only one and It was yes or no, she just about won in a one horse race lol. I'm pretty sure the Brexit party were the only ones to vote against her not...

I bet her opponents in today's election are absolutely gutted to have lost by such a narrow margin........ Democracy alive and well and at work in the EU !

I'm pretty sure the Brexit party were the only ones to vote against her not... She required 374 votes, she got 383. The green bloc didn't vote for her because her environmental policy didn't go far enough for them. The German political establishment are, in general, glad to be rid of her. God knows how she'll fare on the European stage. Probably not well.

One of the main issues for the people who wanted to leave the EU was yes you guessed it immigration. So instead of Poles and the like coming into the country to help us fill our employment gaps we know have people from Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo filling the gaps. This was always going to happen to anyone who knows anything about capitalism. Link is a little old but never the less its happening. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47400679Brexit: Bosses seek cut to immigrant salary threshold www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-49007700

As long as they have the skills and a job then as far as I’m concerned they can come from anywhere. And I voted to leave but controlled immigration was not high on my agenda and I doubt it was for many leavers. What was high on the agenda was mass uncontrolled movement of people from the EU with no jobs to go to and milking our benefits etc which is completely different from controlled immigration.

I have absolutely no problem whatsoever about people coming to our country from anywhere. But I suspect that it was an issue for many leavers (the polls agree)which does bring a little ironic smile. Plus I dont know anyone from the EU who comes here not to work.Who on earth would want to.Again the stats back me up on that but thats another story. The benefit system would have plenty of money if the fat cat businesses paid their taxes, you are talking billions not someone scrounging around for £30 a week.

Everyone knows that the problem with socialism is that they eventually run out of other peoples money to spend. If we tax Billionaires, how will they be able to buy superyachts, homes in Megacities that nobody lives in, football clubs, dead artists paintings that they have zero appreciation of, pay their worker below their market value...

You might not 'know' anyone personally, does that mean it doesn't happen outside of your little bubble? I don't know any members of the Cosa Nostra mate, but I know that the Mafia exist 😂 I have a relative who works for the DWP who says that claims for UC from Romanians (and other Eastern Europeans, but mainly Romanians) are through the roof. Are you telling me she's incorrect because you 'don't know any personally'? There have been numerous documentaries involving Romanians turning suburban houses into brothels- there was one doc (on C4 I believe) that followed a Romanian family just arrived who were bragging that their first act was to go shoplifting. Don't try and make out that every immigrant here is a Godsend- yes, a lot do genuinely do want to work but please don't tell me that there are none on the take? And no-one I know personally voted Leave to end immigration- many people you could call immigrants themselves voted to Leave. If you actually believe what you write, I think your 'IQ of 113' needs a couple of plus signs in the middle , bud 😎

I know mate my point is you said who on earth would come here not to work well criminals do and there are loads of them in all areas of criminality it's rife. You might not see the extent of it I have Stoke on it's own is prolific with criminal gangs. More than anywhere else in the county, way more.

Quite right BUT it makes it easy to get rid once they come to light, atm you can't deport them because they are EU members and it's difficult nearly impossible to throw them out. Massive issues with and I'm not picking this out of thin air Romanians, drugs, human sex trafficking money laundering and organised robbers/ theives in Stoke. Not shoplifters or £5 bags of weed dealers although they do that also but big gangs running big business organisations. It's not a movie it's real now they are not "billionaires" but hundreds of thousands towards millions defo, seen it with my own eyes. Hundreds if not thousands of young girls "living" around here and the west Mids area used for sex raking in hundreds again if not thousands a day each for criminals to build on.

More of what she promised
I. Wild transfers of powers to the EU (part 2):
- Greater immigration burden sharing - 10k border guards by 2024 - Right of legislative initiative for the EP
II. Hard EU regulation:
- Reduce EU emissions by 50% in 2030 - An EU minimum wage - Gender quotas for company boards
III. Ever more transfers of EU taxpayers' money:
- European Unemployment Reinsurance scheme - European Child Guarantee welfare scheme - Non specific tax on "big tech" - EU carbon border tax - A European investment bank that would solely be dedicated to combating climate change
IV. EU protectionism:
- EU carbon border tax - Sustainability chapter in all trade deals - New Trade Enforcement officer to monitor compliance
