It will probably depend upon how many seats they have available after taking into account the numbers of ST holders we have - which is, as usual, a State secret! 1,800 is a significant number of pay on the day seats to add to the number we had last year if ST sales have been similar. The club will probably have a pretty good idea by late July of whether special measures (over and above the free tickets for schools) are needed to fill the new corner. Has the club got "a pretty good idea" how to fill the whole ground after HT? Allow us to drink alcohol sitting in the stands which happens at every other sports event in the country.

Now I've seen the positioning of the big screeen I wish I'd been more pro active about a seat swap. I won't be able to see it from my row, ten feet further forward the view would be fine. Bugger. Don't forget there'll be 2 screens though mate so if you can't see one you should be able to see the other.... Brill... I thought there was one going over the South Stand, but was told 'no' by folk around me. I wasn't sure, thought it was a bit odd because the posh seats wouldn't have a view of it where it is either. {Not that it matters that much, but time, checking oppo player names, replays etc... if it's there I want to see it.} Good news.

If the season ticket cut off date was a week after the last game of the season, and Hughes was still in charge, I think it's very likely that I wouldn't renew.

Yep I renewed and didn't matter if we'd been relegated, hope the new corner section means it's less cold in January though...

What would do on a Saturday??? Always renew the manager and players are only temporary I support the club whoever we play or in whatever league. It's called being a fan. If its rubbishy don't go, if you don't like the manager or players don't go. If you don't enjoy it perhaps you should support the shit or Chelsea they win ever week. To me it's about the people you meet, the banter and the hope, we have won bugger. all but I keep dreaming.

Cmon Kev You either go or you don't ...following a football club is something we do wether good or bad It's all a bit Chelsea, Manchester United stuff like when people stop going or change because they've won nowt You seem better than this mate "Vis Unita Fortior" I don't know what it is I have watched decades of shite but I suppose its they might be shite but they were my shite attitude. This lot are different ,millionaires that just look like a bunch of plodders pinching money and putting performances in associated with a league 1 team and little effort or desire. The matchday experience is great while I am drinking in town or wherever with my mates ,goes down the minute I have to get that god forsaken bus to that soulless tin pot ground on a hill in the middle of nowhee..

Agree that ground has never felt like a home to me and the day usually going downhill once the pub is vacated away games are far better than home ones. But what else can we do

I despised watching us under Pulis mate but still went home and away If it was financial or family reasons then fair dos but to see your arse because it was poor fayre is really a little bit Chelsea to me Of all the years people could stop going and the shit we've watched they choose now when it's actually the same price as it was 10 years ago Perhaps it's just me Oh I agree but people were wearing their non renewals as a badge of honour 4 years ago. Then again I've never believed Scholes figures, as he hasn't issued an actual early bird total for years. Not renewing is the new "true supporters card"

People are more bothered about whether they can see the big TV screen.
It might as well be the NHL.
Where can I buy an SCFC hotdog and some popcorn?
And can we have four breaks in the game so little Johnny can go for a pee and I can eat more hotdogs?
Sheesh. Modern football.

We struggled with the old screen being in Block 30 of the DPD when everyone was standing up. We hopefully will have the choice of both now but I guess it depends on the angle of the one in the new corner....

It's not even a question is it unless (as has been mentioned) it's down to financial or work/family commitments?
I've just been lucky enough to find a ticket next to me and my two eldest so our youngest lad can now have a season ticket too.
He's only 6 so he'll no doubt miss a few but he's got a seat at the back of the Boothen now and it's ours as long as he wants it.
It doesn't matter how wank we are (and it's not even that bad in truth) if it's in your blood, it's in your blood.

We hopefully will have the choice of both now but I guess it depends on the angle of the one in the new corner.... The new one should face the same way as the one it will replace - i.e. it should directly face the centre spot along the same diagonal from corner to corner as the new screen being built in the Boothen/main stand corner. The only differences will be that it will be higher up and (allegedly) be slightly smaller - presumably to save weight.

I just didn't renew anyway.
I've been threatening it since midway through TP's last season
If'ing and ah'ing throughout
In reality many reasons
Pissed off with the time it's taking to get down the m6 to sit in a stadium full of mutes
Truly boring as fuck and when we do sing it's like delayed action with one half of the supporters singing two seconds behind the other as if it's some sort of competition....truly fucking embarrassing
I don't have any faith in our manager ....I now also think a few players don't either.
And this year I've realised ( maybe daft but I can't shake it off) I'm no fan of our owner Peter Coates
Add to that I've decided to work weekends instead of spending (I'll listen on radio)
Season ticket costs Parking permit costs Average £50 per game when you add petrol etc
