1 win in 10 now and he doesn't know how to turn it around. I think he's a dead man walking and the performances are showing that.

Who is "we" exactly ? You and your mom? fuck me have a bad season and lets fuck the manager off....were you their when we were shit if you were you would appreciate what we have got now There's plenty on here that were there when we were shit, thats got nothing to do with it, its awful to watch and the squad is a shambles, we surrendered today in a meaningless end of season game, were you saying where were you when Pulis was about to get the chop??????

I said i would make my mind up at the end of the season if Hughes should go or not.....I will always give Hughes credit for three 9th place finishes ,but this season has been woeful and I can't defend today's performance, no Stoke supporter can !
I don't blame any Hughes haters getting stuck in tonight . So go ahead and enjoy yourself , I'm having a few beers after that shit !! 🍺🍺🍺

Sacking him now is pointless. Finish the season. Then move on.

He must go. Take Bowen with him. Before anyone asks who do we replace him with, the answer is simple ANY FUCKER. We couldn't do any fuckin worse.

It is impossible to defend Hughes anymore. In a limp insipid season he saved up the worst performance in years for the Arsenal. Two fullbacks who really are truly abysmal, a midfield 3 who look like they have never seen a football, who take 15 touches to bring it under control and then pass it backwards placing the central defenders under pressure. £45m spent on players who are not good enough for the bench, or start on the bench or end up being brought off and sit on the bench. He exhorts the crowd to lift the team- actually Mark that's your job but something you have failed to do in the last 18 months. For me you have slipped so far, I don't think you can take us anywhere now.

Where have the Stoke "at them" that I loved to see at the Brit gone!? In the first half we looked so negative and only seemed interested in hanging on to a 0-0 as long as possible! No support for Diouf at all, but the worst was to see our right side defend! Johnson drifted into the middle like a third central defender leaving Shaq to defend the right hand side which he actually didn't bother to do! We were very lucky to escape with only one goal conceded in the first half, but tactically this was a very disappointing approach. I've said it before this season and I say it again: HUGHES NEEDS TO GO! We need someone else to create some optimism as LMH really seems to have lost the ability to inspire this team!

Players have let themselves down (again) today - 4 bloody goals (again).
Where does that leave the manager? Johnson extended contract (clueless management decision); players not motivated an/or clueless (clueless man management/motivational skills); Hughes doesn't have a clue with substitutions, game plan (TURNIP) - get rid.

Can I see your Crystal Ball please? *winkyface* I'm not a fan of the manager, not after going six away games in a row without seeing a bloody goal, but Coates seems to have faith in him. I trust the chairman more than I trust the manager.

Sacking him now is pointless. Finish the season. Then move on. No chance. Not for me. In fact i wouldn't have let him come back out for the lap around the pitch. Kick him straight out the door and stick any fucker in charge for the last game.

Exactly - this "he will get us relegated next season" is just supposition and exaggeration. No one knows what next year will bring. I'll trust in Peter Coates' judgement.

There has to be a change at the top
You can't argue we will be okay winning once every ten games next season because that's mathematically incorrect.

Hughes has to go.
The whole place needs freshening up. If Hughes stays, then we will be in a relegation scrap next season.
Let's bring back some of those who have been bombed out, give a new manager the summer to assess them and revamp the squad.
As fans we need something new as the whole thing is a chore.
Thank god this season is nearly over.

Everton did it with Martinez last season with 1 game to go and gave all their kids a go for the last match...
