Is it on TV then? For me now we're safe Id take a few risks Jack Edwards Indi Ryan Muni Allen Cameron Sobhi Shaq Arni Diouf And really take it to then. I would love to see this team, even for 1 game but it's never going to happen. I think you are right. Hughes has only indulged Stoke fans once this season with a highly attacking "go get it" line up; that was against Wolves and it proved a disaster and the end of Imbula and Bojan. www.skysports.com/football/stoke-vs-wolves/teams/368157

I think both were subbed at half time which was very very unusual especially for Hughes. Wolves battered us we were a joke that game.

Much as I'd love us to beat Arsenal I'd much rather Hughes keep his word on a number of things and experiment a little, he said Imbula will have his chance, well let's see him with perhaps Allen in defensive midfield and see what he's learnt defensively to go with his obvious attacking skills. Let's give Edwards some time, it needn't be the whole match, lets play a number 10 who has some guile (shaq) and let's see some more of Sohbi with Berahino up top (hard on Diouf, I know). It's time to give the fringe players some time, no Walters, Crouch, Adam, Whelan on the bench, we know what they can and can't do. Let's experiment with Muni in midfield again as Hughes said he would (perhaps the Southampton game).
There's little to play for this season now in terms of achievement (we've already under-achieved) so let's give some promising youngsters a chance, if only for the part of the last two matches, you never know we might all be surprised!

Ohh a win would be a great way to stop our stumble to the end of this bonkers season. I'm looking forward to the window as best as possible.

I cant bring myself around to be getting excited for this, usually buzzing weeks in advance at the thought of playing these cunts, and is one of the 1st ones i look for when fixtures ar announced, however a late KO, and 10 pre match pints for some will raise the atmosphere and i hope the players respond and at least give us something cheer about after this dog awful season.

I feel a bit sapped too, usually have wound up every Arsenal fan I know by now, haven't even bothered this season.. Maybe by the time it's Friday we will all get a bit more up for it. We just seem to never know which Stoke side will turn up nowadays, and I think the nerves are there because it's one of the first times I don't feel confident we will win. Nervous they could spank us in fact, which would just about ruin the entire season for me. 0-4 and we don't turn up again...C'mon lads we need the team to play well, blood and thunder! This is OUR BEST fixture normally...

I actually think a few things'll go our way and we'll get a result. Arnie and Shaq'll score plus an opener from Saido. Course, Les'll probably play the youth team and Imbula as he picks the numbers from his 'lucky lotto tin' at home

Cameron and Allen doesn't work. You need Whelan as defensive mid to hold it together. I know Whelan is not the future but he is the best we have currently. Imbula cannot be given defensive responsibility. Why people keep suggesting him in a defensive midfield is beyond my comprehension. I am all for experimentation but not in a kami kazi fashion. Ramadan should be brought back, I don't see Arnautovic as the future and him and Shaqiri may well be on their way.

Butland Bardsley Shawcross Indi Pieters Cameron Allen Imbula Shaqiri Arnautovic Diouf/Saido
Or switch imbula for Sobhi as a number 10 if we feel lucky

Since Jack looks to be the number 1 next season, it would be nice to see Grant get the final home game so the fans can thank him for his good work this season.
If Hughes knows certain players are leaving, it would be nice to make sure they get some game time too.

If the scum beat Southampton in mid week, they will still be on for a Champions league place,so I have a bad feeling we could be on a hiding.

They are away to Southampton Wednesday night so I suppose we might have an edge. Our slow tempo will ensure they can have a bit of a rest. If we start like we did against Hull we can have them on the ropes.

I think I'd bring Crouchy in for this one, harsh on Diouf but I think we'll go mre direct against Arsenal
I'd also leave Allen out and put SJW up there in a 442
Butland Johnson Ryan Indi Muni Shaq Whelan Cameron Arnie Crouch Walters
Controversial but I think its our best chance of getting something

Hughes will go with the following I reckon:
Butland
Johnson Shawcross Martins Indi Pieters
Cameron Whelan
Shaqiri Allen Arnautovic
Diouf
I personally would go with:
Butland
Johnson Shawcross Martins Indi Pieters
Cameron Muniesa/Allen
Arnautovic Shaqiri Sobhi
Diouf

Butland
Johnson Shawcross Indi Pieters
Cameron Imbula Allen
Arnie Shaq
Diouf
Everybody doing the Wenger at full time and Hughes swanning off into the distance waving his secret dossier

Butland Clamp Shawcross Smith Wilkinson
Whelan Adam A.D. Faye
Arnautovic Steele Setters
That ought to sort 'em out, even with half of the team out of position.

Koscielny out of Arsenal's team v Southampton tonight with a calf injury.
Let's hope it's a Shaq calf injury.

What year is this Exactly, thats the problem! There is no way we can beat Arsenal any other way after how this season has gone A midfield that can't pass and two forwards with the pace and movement of very slow objects. Other than that, just what we need to boost our goal output.

It's interesting that no one else has chosen Grant in their lineup. I think it would be nice to give him the final home game so that the fans can show their appreciation. He may not get much game time next season.
