The shit I read on here sometimes is fucking mind-boggling. How many of you fuckers have given your bank details to that bloke in Nigeria who wants you to profit from the estate of his aunt who has died and left 200 million quid but he can't bank it because he doesn't live in the UK? Even enough negative straws will become so sodden that they will eventually drown common sense. It seems as though it's happening on here. OS.

There's been a load of ill feeling towards Shawcross for months now. I don't get it at all.

The way they spoke about Shawcross, it doesn't sound like he's very popular, especially with Jon. Before that I'd always assumed they'd be quite good mates.

Not at all. I think there have been realistic comments about his level of performance not being what it once was and a bit of criticism for having a pop at the crowd nothing even close to ill feeling. Questions have been raised in a pretty fair and balanced manner.

Although the article looks a bit dodgy it wouldn't surprise me if he left. Its not beyond the realms of possibility that he just doesn't enjoy playing for stoke anymore. I know he gets payed well, very well and is in a priviliged position but he's always seemed to be one to thrive off the unity of the crowd, a cauldron atmosphere, battling against the odds. It'sjust not like that anymore is it. Booing and discontent in the stands, no atmosphere at home, songs. I'd love him to stay and for hughes to put together a formation and unit that excites the crowd on a regular basis bringing the atmosphere back. Whatever happens he's a legend in my eyes.

Least worrying rumour ever as comic book guy probably wouldn't say.

So a rumour from John Walters family about him not being best mates with Shawcross translates into a 'fair few players' not being sad to see him go.

more bullshit we will have to get used to this until the end of the next transfer window.my only concern is that he could probably get more money elsewhere? and with him being frozen out of the england squad. even m'boro players get a look in now before a stokie!!

I think the fans need to get behind him & show him some support Rightly or wrongly, Ryan couldn't give a single dusty fuck about what the crowd do. This is the bloke that never or barely reciprocates the applause and quickly turns his back on the Boothen before every match. Again rightly or wrongly I think he's fairly able to switch off from the crowd.

Can you imagine though if Leicester are interested as the article suggest, Shawcross/Huth double act for them. I would be violently sick. Both leaving would be while hughes is in charge aswel.

The decision is his alone if he decides to go then fair enough he has been a good servant to the club. But is he the same player he was a few years back? He was never good enough at international level but a solid premier player a captain well perhaps not but his back injury seems to influence his performances this season and has been caught out more than once. Perhaps it's time to look for a new centre back But whatever decision he makes we should thank him for what he has done

futnsoccer.com/2017/04/19/ newcastle-receive-huge-boost-in-chase-for-premier-league- defender/ Bayen made it up to play an u16 kiddie at centre half Not good news if true! Fortunately that dodgy site looks like it's just made it up. Which is good news because we can't afford to lose him.

To be fair I have no problem with Huth leaving, I think Hughes made the right call there. Shame that Wollscheid wasn't quite right to replace him. If Ryan leaves it'll be the biggest loss this club has had since we got to the prem.

My only criticism of Ryan is that he doesn't seem to be a very forceful captain. I was disappointed he didn't step in when Grant and Pieters were scrapping on Saturday.

The only journalist who's opinion and knowledge on Stoke matters I take even remotely seriously is John Percy.
Not some hopeless college no-mark from the favoured part of the world for Arsenal supporters.

To sell a Stoke City legend to a Premier League rival would be madness....Ryan still has plenty to offer and is forming a good partnership with Bruno. ...Stoke should be concentrating on getting Bruno signed up ASAP and persuading Ryan to sign a new contract.
If it's fake news then Hallelujah ! 🙏
