The worrying thing is, a team usually collapses and races from mid table to relegation, we look like that team I still think we will have enough to be ok, but is that good enough? We can't buy a goal at the moment let alone a bloody win.

If Hull win tonight, which they may well do,everybody from 9 th down will be looking over there shoulders.
Be interesting to study the table on Thursday morning.

If Hull win tonight we're 6 points off it and have them to play. I don't think it will happen either but it's worth a glance and a little worry. Swansea only have 28 points, so if they lose, even if Hull win it's still 8 points to the bottom 3. True. That's why I'm waiting on their results tonight. I think both may get points.

Compare our run in, with Hull's and look at 2 scenarios. Scenario 1. Stoke v Liverpool...0 Pts Stoke v Hull...3 Points Swans v Stoke ...0 Points Stoke v WHU...1 Point Bnmth v Stoke 1 Point Stoke v Arse..0 Point. Southamp v Stoke 0 Point 41 Points.... Hull v Boro...3 Poinrs Man c v Hull...0 Points Stoke v Hull 0 Points Hull v Watford...3 Points Sthpton v Hull...1 Point Hull v Sunderland...3 Points Palace v Hull...0 Points. Hull v Spurs...0 Points. 37 Points. Now....Just suppose they beat us...They are on 40, we are on 38. Lets say it's a draw... They on 38, we on 39... Tight as a mouse's ear. We have some real 6 pointers unfortunately, Swans away is gonna be tricky, especially given our recent form,WHU at home another tricky one... Make no mistake, we are far from safe... We are safe you fanny Made me laugh that did.

If we lose to hull, we can definitely go down
If we beat hull, we are up for another year

We will hover around 15th but stay up.
Either way, after buying Allen Imbula and Berahino that's aweful management.
We don't sack managers mid season, were Stoke. But by god is Hughes gone in May.

Relegation this year? Probably (and hopefully), not but next season looks worryingly close and a solution to our problems is not obvious. But when did we last have a 20 goals a season forward? Two new young full backs, a gifted midfielder and anyone who has a really good goal-scoring record., and it doesn't matter which league he comes from. That's all we need - gulp!

Phew...Thank god for that, and here was me thinking our away form and some not so easy home games made us look far from safe... Thanks for your inciteful fact based decision. Incidentally, where do you see us getting points...Given our current form...HULL is a 6 POINTER Apart from a 1 off season when West Ham where relegated on 42pts the general Relegation mark is 33-36pts It would take a record run of losses for us and a consistent upturn in form for a few others to get us relegated. There is a chance of it all going Pete tonge but at the minute it's heavily weighted in our favour of being safe, hence the bookies still having us at massive odds.

We should be ok and would need to lose practically every game between now and the end of the season to go down. That said we're playing so poorly at the moment that there is a small chance of that and I'm starting to look over my shoulders again a bit. I'll breathe a bit easier if Hull and Swansea lose tonight certainly. If they win then the upcoming games against those 2 could become massive.

I see the yellow belied fuckwit brigade are out again. Whilst I agree that people are panicking, you spend most of your time name calling people on an Internet forum, I wonder if you are this 'brave' in real life? Why is stating a fact 'brave'?

Why do you ask that question - you haven't stated a fact? You have simply given an opinion/judgement that can not be proved.

300/1 was being offered by bookies yesterday. I was interested in it as a compo bet. I knew it would be shorter today. And low and behold it's 150/1. It'll be even shorter tomorrow when Hull win tonight.

Pulis or Ranirire. Would either except the job ?
If so can I get a refund on the season tickets I have just paid for.
I am as concearned as everyone else, but I am sure, and hope, that the management will be a little calmer and considered.
Hughes is still a viable option, but not the only one.

Bookies normally astute in these matters - as others have said, mathematically yes of course but realistically almost certainly not.......BUT Coates needs to weild the axe across the board - manager, back-room staff, that useless fucking trainer who waddles on and the deadwood and thems with serious attitude problems.......

We are just 6 points above third from bottom now
Not enough cushion to feel one hundred per cent safe
Plus we are on a downward slump whilst other teams are clearly in the ascendancy
Cant say im not at all worried though i dont believe we will go down

Someone try and explain to him what a fact is - I can't be bothered.

Tonight's results have been comforting not only in terms of the league table but because they show just how many shit teams there are in the league this year.
You don't have to be decent to survive. You don't even have to be not shit. All you have to do is be shit, but less shit than 3 teams.

Much better now 8 points sbove third from bottom Reassuring cushion It does say a lot that we're praying for other teams to help us out though? If we don't lose we can't go down, i don't think many of us trust Stoke/Hughes to get the job done and even if we did, when did our expectations drop back down to "avoid relegation at all costs"
