Watford have been shit whenever I've seen them. Crazy that they're in 9th. Shows how crap the league is this year Is there any indication that the league will be better next year? I can't see the likes of Watford or Burnley improving a lot. Palace might do a a little better as they should with their hugely expensive signings. West Brom will probably not do as well (can't let the fans expect too much and all).

WATFORD are the new ninth. Sobering thought for everyone involved at Stoke including Mark Hughes With 3 games in hand SOUTHAMPTON will take our 9th spot. Every other team from Watford down (except Burnley) has either 1 or 2 games in hand. The remaining matches are Liverpool (H), Hull (H), Swansea (A), West Ham (H), Bournemouth (A), Arsenal (H), & Southampton (A). Every one is a direct threat to us. How many points do you see from that lot? I see 5 or 6 which should be enough, but it's not going to be pretty and we certainly could finish just above the drop zone.

Compare our run in, with Hull's and look at 2 scenarios. Scenario 1. Stoke v Liverpool...0 Pts Stoke v Hull...3 Points Swans v Stoke ...0 Points Stoke v WHU...1 Point Bnmth v Stoke 1 Point Stoke v Arse..0 Point. Southamp v Stoke 0 Point 41 Points.... Hull v Boro...3 Poinrs Man c v Hull...0 Points Stoke v Hull 0 Points Hull v Watford...3 Points Sthpton v Hull...1 Point Hull v Sunderland...3 Points Palace v Hull...0 Points. Hull v Spurs...0 Points. 37 Points. Now....Just suppose they beat us...They are on 40, we are on 38.
Lets say it's a draw... They on 38, we on 39...
Tight as a mouse's ear.
We have some real 6 pointers unfortunately, Swans away is gonna be tricky, especially given our recent form,WHU at home another tricky one...
Make no mistake, we are far from safe...

Incidentally, where do you see us getting points...Given our current form...HULL is a 6 POINTER

We are not safe and unless we avoid defeat at home to Hull we are in big trouble. It's far from certain we will, given that we've already lost to their reserves this season

We are not safe yet but i cant see us going down
Still the Hull and Swansea games are 6 pointers
Against lpool (which is a game we'll lose anyway) i'd start with the same back 3 and same wing backs as today, imbula and cameron, arnie, bony and sobhi upfront
I want bony match fit for the swansea match
Intrily believe in what in italy they call the "gol dell'ex" a goal against you by your ex player

I see the yellow belied fuckwit brigade are out again. Whilst I agree that people are panicking, you spend most of your time name calling people on an Internet forum, I wonder if you are this 'brave' in real life?

I think it would take a catastrophic run in for it to happen (despite one or two praying for it to happen )
Avoiding defeat to Hull and Swansea and picking up the odd point here and there will see us comfortable.

I don't think we will go down, but how can Leicester be priced at 50/1 for relegation and not us? They are on the same point but above us on goal difference with a game in hand. Not to mention the form they are in. It's getting tighter and we could be dragged in to it, and if we are I do fear for us, the team looks completely devoid of any fight.

There is usualy a team out of the bottom 6 That get dragged in,lets hope we now have enough points on the board to avoid this, because I cant see us getting too many points in our ramaing games.

We are reasonably safe but are not immune from having a complete collapse - and then 36 points could be a worryingly thin margin.
At the moment I could see us getting just 4 points more.

We already have 36 points. We'd have to lose every single game until the end of the season for there to even be a hint of danger.

Assuming we stay up , long term, are we confident for next season? Are we convinced that MH is building a good team and squad? (PS I'm not!!)

The rest of the season is defining in terms of Hughes. He needs to decide on his best system and ensure we play a high intensity, pressing game - and make sure we score more goals. The season, which promised so much, has gone flat for me and many more supporters. We will be regretting that 2 seasons of poor starts

If Hull win tonight we're 6 points off it and have them to play. I don't think it will happen either but it's worth a glance and a little worry.

Swansea only have 28 points, so if they lose, even if Hull win it's still 8 points to the bottom 3.
