Grant shocking for both goals.
No point making good saves if you can't do the basics.

Grant shocking for both goals. No point making good saves if you can't do the basics. Grant has been brilliant - the goalkeeper is the least of any problems we have

You're expecting him to save the second??

Howler from Pieters (expected, he's poor) but Grant could of shouted for him to leave it. No Chelsea player in sight, piss weak header would of dribbled into his arms. He's all over the place when the ball comes across his area.
The first goal is a catastrophic error.

Both goals? WTF
I'd go as far as to say today was his first out and out mistake since he signed. Couple of errors of judgements such as Leicester's equaliser, West Brom at home maybe but no stinkers.
He's been excellent.....

Not seen the goals again but at the game I thought grant was more culpable on the second than the first.
He's been brilliant though so if he made a mistake, so be it. Shit happens.

It's a balls up all around, from keeper, to full back and back to the training ground. You'd expect experienced players to know what they're doing in a match situation though, and maybe Jack would've organised the situation better. It was just a pathetic goal to concede. I can't remember the last time I felt so angry at goal we've conceded.

Yes incredibly harsh, he's got mountains of credit in the bank ... arguably our player of the season.

He wasn't wrong because Grant hasn't a clue when the ball comes across his area. He's akin to Carl 'Dracula' Muggleton. Just my opinion like.

When he's fit enough to come back he'll be on the bench until there is a reason he needs to play

Honestly now, are you ever confident in the goalkeeper when the ball is crossed into our box? There's not many modern keepers that command their box these days and come out and claim everything though, hardly any in fact. The keeper concerns me far less from set pieces than our outfield players actually getting our heads on the ball.....

Honestly now, are you ever confident in the goalkeeper when the ball is crossed into our box? Yes. Caught a couple, they didn't overly threaten from crosses or most of the corners. Not excusing the free kick it was a combination of shit organisation and positioning from Grant, and world class shit from Willian. There was a postcard sent. The second was a fuck up preceded by a cracking reflex save as I recall. I think at this stage Grant is a better all round keeper than Jack, Jack will no doubt get better if he realises he's not a sweeper keeper, and improves his kicking and communication. It's good competition, not a given.
