We needed to be patient till he gets the opportunity and we were sure that he would prove himself.

We should welcome them with open arms respect them, their religion, and embrace such attention great times if we can fill Cairo full of Stoke Shirts why not ? Of we could sell that many shirts in Cairo we would be able to buy Messi and Ronaldo.

Im highly opinionated on a lot of things - not really that religous myself but I do agree with what Dave Allen used to say at the very end of his then weekly Saturday night BBC show back in the seventies 'Good night and may your god go with you' We all have Gods. Think about it. Some people even worship themselves. Hey! That comment resembles me owd Bayern!

And of course the late great Omar Sharif, once one of the worlds top Bridge players...

Until then we will settle for Staffordshire & Africa!

It's great to see the Egyptian fans following our fortunes, and being on here.
One of the best things about football, which I always cite when challenged by my posh mates who all prefer the oval ball, is that I can go anywhere in the world, walk into a bar and strike up a conversation with people about footy, even without being able to speak more than a few words of each others language. Nothing else has this power. Even better, these days they've actually heard of Stoke in most places - and Egypt is clearly on that list.
The small minded dickheads who try to be divisive over it, are fortunately a tiny minority.

and I'm assuming somebody in club sales and marketing is right on this then again maybe not Have you seen the season review DVDs? Look like they were made by a 12 year old in his IT class. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I think it's all a bit of a new experience for them. They've never left their home town or visited another culture. It's all a bit scary and confusing for them. Like throwing a kid who plays Xbox all day into a 9-5 job (Not too dissimilar a scenario actually).

Went Zanzibar last year, loads of South Africans there, all had their favourite Prem team (non Stoke, sadly but unsurprisingly) as did all the staff at the hotel.

Yes I know, it is virtually a crime that squash is not in the Olympics, they keep trying to get in, its a perfect Olympic sport, but the Olympic Committee keep following the sports where they think the money is :-(

Must be something in the Egyptian psychology. The squash players play with so much flair as opposed to European players. An approach to sport that our own Ramadan also appears to be bringing to Stoke City.

Send the squad in to a terrorist hotspot?😂 After Spurs perhaps, Man city perhaps not. Let's wait to see how they go on against Chelsea.

If they will do a marketing campaign in Egypt with google translate I am sure it will fail 100%

As an Egyptian,I will tell you a simple hint to show you the size of the Egyptian market,
after each participation of Ramadan, any video uploaded with the description of "Ramadan skills against Man city(for example)", will
simply get 100000 views in the first hours, Put this on a larger scale and imagine wisely how to make profit of it..

Ramadan himself should be in Egypt to help the marketing process and sign some shirts not only in Cairo but in other big cities in Egypt as well.this will be a great event which will be met with great joy especially if Stoke city club can reach an agreement with Al Ahly for a friendly game too.
