Magnificent in the time he was on. It would be so easy for him to sulk because he's not a regular but he never fails to give his best and deserves massive credit for his attitude. Tremendous squad player to have. Should always be on the bench.

He seems his joyful old self pre his loss and all that only with a bit more anger defensively, I like him and he doesn't quit. I'd keep him tbh for cover on the wing and CF.

His timing for tackling is sublime.
Wish he could shoot or hold a ball up but his work ethic and defensive play is ace

the Lionheart.
He was bought as striker, but in all honesty his touch and shooting isn't good enough. I think playing this sort of right wing-back role is suiting him. His energy and tackling is excellent. If he can improve his passing/centring, he could be awesome for us.

Some of Dioufs tackles on Sane were superb. Considering Sane was in such good form, Diouf never stopped tracking him. When Doiuf went off Sane had far more space, forcing MH to put on Glenn to the right to carry on Dioufs work.
Diouf is actually a bloody good defensive wing back.

The added dimension of his defensive skills really make him worthy of a place in the squad. It's a real bonus.

I still think Mame would be a very good right back! Pace, heart, strong in the air, never say die attitude and good tackles as well! Worth a try?

Also happens to still be the best centre forward at the club.

He's much better defensively than he is a striker. He missed a sitter and he had the first touch of a three-legged camel. However, his effort and enthusiasm are second to none.

His best position is undoubtedly right wing. A far better option with his work rate and pace than the half arsed pedestrian Shaqiri who doesn't even want to play for us.
